Complete Satisfaction - Great bus, good schedule, a nice tour of various neighborhoods of Nice, then a lovely run down the coast to Villefranch-sur-Mer. Our driver Bertrand was warm and helpful. If you're up top, watch your head as branches will come your way in Nice.

Hop On/Off during winter months - The Nice Hop on/off tour bus was an ok experience. Having used a similar service in other parts of the world we've visited, we had high expectations. The bus only ran every hour on the hour. This was mainly due to it being the winter low season and not many riders. The Tour bus route gave us a snippet of what Nice and the surrounding areas were like. Not too many unique or interesting sites to get off a each stop to see. We did get a good view off the sea as we drive up and down the coast. The driver was very professional and had great driving skills to maneuver the large bus through the narrow and slightly curving streets. I believe that one day would have been enough during the winter time, but probably two days would be better during the summer to be able to stop and walk around before hopping back on. Overall, we had a good time seeing the area on this tour ride.

Tour was Too Short - Tour was wonderful but very rushed. Our driver drove way too fast considering the amount of traffic. Not enough time in each stop.

Don't be ill on Tour day!! - Unfortunately, due to not being well on the tour date, I and my wife were unable to make it on the tour. Despite communicating this to the tour company, in an attempt to re arrange for the next day on two occasions that day, no response was received. My tickets were thus voided and nobody has offered a refund. Poor service on the tour company, and Viator.

Didn't even run - I work in travel and, having seen the poor reviews of this bus tour, I decided to test it out for myself so that I can better advise people. Sadly, I couldn't even try it out since the bus was not running! I went to the 1st stop at Quai des Etats Unis before the scheduled departure; there was a bus - with no driver. After waiting 15 minutes, I went for a walk and returned 15 minutes later. Same bus still there, still no driver. 45 minutes later, I returned again, same bus, no driver. I checked online - no notifications about cancellation. There was no sign in the bus that it wasn't running that day or anyone standing there to talk to. I spent the day strolling around Nice and not once did I actually see one of these buses running or waiting at any of the advertised stops. I understand that December is off-season so there may not be much demand, but then don't sell tickets and, if buses are cancelled, communicate this. It is a great pity that a product that should provide a fantastic view of such a beautiful part of the country is clearly completely unreliable and is so bad at communicating. It provides a poor first impression of Nice. Cannot recommend.

Terrible - Bus was not frequent, bus stops not identified, and when bus found bus, driver waved me off and wouldn't let me on bus. Didn't use ticket because couldn't get on bus and no help line for assistance.

Couldn’t even hop on!! - Unless we have totally misunderstood the concept of a hoho bus this was our experience. Had their map of bus route waited at bus stop on route, saw bus coming waved and made a point that we wanted to get on. Bus never stopped totally ignored us, walked to another stop on route exactly the same thing happened! It clearly says that you can pay on the bus too, no point having a hoho bus if drivers aren’t going to stop for you to get on!
