Great tour at Ometepe! - Ometepe was beautiful! Donald was our tour guide and he was amazing from the moment he picked us up from the ferry to the second he dropped us off at our hotel. The tour was all day and one thing I recommend is taking the first ferry of the day to maximize your day. He will do the tour in either spanish or english which was super helpful with my teen niece. You don’t have to worry about lunch since he has it covered! It was delicious and needed after a long morning! Our group definitely wished we had an extra day to hike up Volcan Concepcion…for our visit to Ometepe! One of my favorite parts of the day was Ojo de Agua, it was beautiful and super refreshing! Donald was reliable, picked us up on time and communicated with us prior to our scheduled tour via WhatsApp. He provided us with dinner recommendations and even help coordinate our transportation back to the ferry when needed. You won’t regret booking with Happy Tours Ometepe.

Brilliant Tour!!! - Fantastic tour with Donald from Happy Tours Ometepe. Donald was great and the tour included so many great options including our transportation around the island from the moment we arrived. Highlights included the afternoon at Mango Beach and the incredible views of Volcano Conception; the cultural dinner with a local family; and the Ojo De Aqua natural spring pool which was so beautiful and with cool water that was so crystal clear. If you are looking for a great tour on Ometepe then definitely look at Happy Tours!!

I had the best time in Ometepe thanks to this company! - I ended up being the only one on the tour this day so my tour was on a motorcycle with Martin as my guide. I was on the 7am ferry and when I got off, Martin was waiting for me. He took me to my hotel to drop off my luggage and then we began our tour. He took me to a local spot to get breakfast then we went to every spot on the itinerary for the day. Martin was a great guide and was great conversation along the way. My favorite part of this whole day was eating at the local family’s house. I ate at the tour company owner’s home and was greeted by his wife and children. I’ll never forget the little girl who was so polite and sweet and spoke well beyond her years. His wife was so welcoming, inviting and had such a kind face. Her food was the best I had during my whole Nicaragua trip. I met the owner towards the end of the trip and he talked about his dreams of turning his place into a hostel. I honestly wish him, his family and his new tour company the best! They all seemed like great people who deserve the best in life. In my opinion, the price for the tour was great bc renting an atv alone is about $60-$70 a day and with the tour price I had a guide, lunch and all entrance fees included. I ended up hiring Martin again the following day for a very reasonable price to take me to el pital where I was doing a chocolate tour, back to ojo de agua bc I had such a good time the day before and then playa mangoes for sunset. I highly recommend this company!

Book with them, you won't be disappointed!! - We booked the Ometepe Classic Cultural Full Day Tour By Happy Tours and I must say we had a wonderful time with Donald. He greeted us as we departed the Ferry with a car and driver for us to start the tour. Before and during the entire tour, Donald made sure we had everything we needed. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable about the historical sites and even helped us with our Spanish. My highlight of the tour was having a traditional Nicaraguan lunch with a local family. I appreciate the hospitality and welcome that was given to us upon arrival and during the lunch. I would highly recommend booking with happy tours for your tour of ometepe, especially if you’re looking for knowledgeable tour guide that will take great care of you. Definitely worth the money, best tour thus far. One note for tourists coming to ometepe I would spend the night and enjoy the sunset at A Punta Jesus Maria.
