Constructed in 1886, it was named Dang Long Tu by the monk Thich Ngo Chi (1856-1935), whose dharma name was Pho Tri. The monk hailed from Vinh Xuong, Khanh Hoa Province, and as a child, he participated in the resistance against the French before becoming a monk.
- Nhà thờ Núi - Mountain Church: This site is referred to as Nha Trang Mountain Church due to its location atop Hoang Lan hill, and as Nga Sau Church because it is situated at the intersection of Thai Nguyen street. Alternatively, it is known as Nha Trang Stone Church, as the church is entirely constructed of stone. The official name of the Church is Christ the King Cathedral.
