Do not miss this truly amazing experience - Amazing day out, Chef Dat is an outstanding host, not only did we get to make three local dishes, we were timely picked up in a very clean vehicle, visited a local residence to see how local Vietnamese people live, visited a local rice noodle making factory along with a coconut processing stall and finished with a trip to the local market to buy the produce for the actual cooking class, which are held in the fantastic facilities. One can only ddescribe the whole experience as outstanding.

Cooking and culture nha trang - Dat was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable of local history and culture. We were shown how coconuts were processed for different products, how rice noodles were made by local producers, the fresh produce at a local market and got a glimpse of how a local family lived and worked. Dat invited us into his beautiful home and showed us how to cook authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, bo la lot and chicken curry. It was fantastic.

Discover Vietnamese cooking culture. - The cooking class was everything I hoped for. It started with a seamless pickup from our Hotel, followed by a visit to a local community where we visited small family businesses, and learnt how coconut milk and fresh noodles are made then walked over to the local market for fresh ingredients such as vegetables, fish and meat that Chef Dat purchased for the food we were going to prepare and cook for our lunch. The last place we visited was a local corner store where we were invited into their home for a glimpse of Vietnamese family life. The cooking school was located at Chef Dat’s, beautiful home, as a group we had picked 3 meals to make, spring rolls, Banh Xeo and Pho the class takes place in his amazing outdoor kitchen, the recipes where easy to follow and all three meals were delicious, beer, soft drink and water was available at no extra cost and the other 3 couples made for a fun day out. Highly recommend this experience.

not really 5 stars.... - There were apparently not enough participants for the first date, so the organizer canceled. OK, so I booked the next day, my request for pickup from the hotel/time was answered. So today I was in front of my hotel on time... in the end I was standing there like an idiot. It was only my query at 9:14 that triggered an action: without an answer or information, only a chargeback was made. What is missing here is motivation, customer orientation, and even warmth, let the guy do what he wants.... From my point of view, I can only advise against booking here, this kind of behavior is probably symptomatic of the entire event. Yes, and now (!) I can try to plan my day completely anew....
