An English-speaking driver and guide will accompany you on a 190 KM drive to the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, you will start to marvel at the grandeur of one of the world’s largest intact calderas, a truly breathtaking sight in Africa. You will then descend to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing. The “Big Five”—rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants—reside in this magnificent caldera, along with zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and many more. Witness stunning birdlife, including flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, and vultures. Relish your lunch at the picnic site by Ngoitokok swamp, a hippo pool, before continuing your safari as you ascend the crater. At the end of the day, your private driver will return you to your hotel in Arusha.
