Best Slum tour In Nairobi - Definitely recommend this tour by far the best in Nairobi, Lucas is well informed and provides excellent information about everything you could possibly think to ask. The Toi market is amazing and meeting all the children and seeing day to day life in the slums is amazing! Definitely book with Lucas, the most friendly amazing person!

An experience all must take part in - If there is one experience you book in Nairobi let it be this. Learning about Kibera and taking it in for myself was invaluable and something everyone should do. We were guided by Peter but also met Lucas at the end. The work they are doing to provide free kindergarten to children in Kibera is invaluable and impactful. I felt safe the whole time and learnt so much on this trip, you cannot say you have truly visited Nairobi unless you have visited Kibera. Make sure you have cash with you so you can purchase items and support the workshops you visit and if you are able to then donate to the school! Thank you Lucas and Peter for the work you are doing you really are the best of Kibera!

Absolutely amazing experience! Not to miss! - This was such an amazing experience, one of the highlights of our time in Africa. Peter is an incredible man and the work him & Lucas are doing is so important. We couldn’t recommend this visit to Kibera more! We have a huge amount of respect for both of them and feel like we made two new friends!!!

Important experience - We booked this tour last minute without knowing what exactly to expect with our two sons of 7 and 10 years old. We met with our guide Elijah in front of the Greenhouse mall which was very convenient. We walked around Kibera and learned how people work and live there. We felt safe the whole time and learned a lot. We could see for ourselves how important the work of Elijah and Lucas is to raise hope and make kids shine through education. Was worth every minute. Highly recommended.

10/10 - this is what traveling is about! - This surreal and eye-opening tour was a great experience. We were running late, but the guide was very communicative and patiently waited for us. The walking tour was informative and safe, and the best part was meeting all the children. If you’re visiting Nairobi, I highly recommend this tour.

Not To Be Missed! - Excellent tour. Elijah, a local, was very friendly and knowledgeable. His mum was very nice. Lucas met us at the end of the tour to introduce himself and to ensure I left safely. Totally recommend this tour!

Touching and eye-opening - The Kibera experience is hard to put into words. Every Westerner should see it to truly grasp how privileged we are. The tour is not just eye-opening, it actively supports the local community, especially children’s education. We met many wonderful, bright kids, asking for so little, and we can only hope they get the chance to break out of conditions no one should live in: homes made of mud, trash-filled rivers, and the constant smell of waste. And there’s hope. We visited the empowerment center where HIV-positive women recycle materials into clothes and accessories, and project Victorious that turns waste into souvenirs. The local government is slowly building better housing too. I encourage everyone traveling to the 3rd World countries not to stay in a bubble. This tour shows reality as it is. The time we spent in the classrooms, partially funded by these tours, was especially moving. The connection with the children was deeply human. This tour won’t leave you indifferent. Bring your teens, keep your heart open, and support the community by buying recycled goods or small gifts for local kids. Thank you, Elijah and Lucas, for having us. Wishing you strength in your work, you and the people of Kibera will stay in our hearts.

Unforgettable experience - It has been one of the most intense and beautiful experience of our life. I'd suggest to everyone to do this tour, also because Elijah has been the perfect guide. I add that all the people in Kibera are very very kind and the experience is absolutely safe! If you visit Nairob you can't skip this tour. Thank you for everything ❤️
