Best Newtown Tour!!! - Great tour. Our guide knew so much about the area and history of the artists. I learned so much. It was a small group so it felt really intimate and probably got some hidden extras. The food spots were well chosen and delicious. I would recommend to tourists and locals.

Newtown Chewtown tour gets the thumbs up - Really enjoyed the tour and the good company. Dan was a fantastic guide. Very cheerful, energetic and kind. A classically-Aussie, young surfie/muso/bar tender to boot. A great activity for solo travellers (which we all coincidentally were, consequently we chatted and became friends in no time). I learned a lot about my local area even though I’ve been living around here 25 years. I joined the tour as I host Airbnb guests in my home in Newtown and wanted to check the tour before I recommended it. It’s a definite “yes” from me!

Highly Recommend This Hidden Gem Tour - We had the best time with our team — such a great way to explore Newtown! Highly recommend it. Justin Steele, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the visit to suit our needs. We even got to visit Lennox Studio and meet a few artists who generously shared their craft.

Exceeds Expectations! - If you're in Sydney and looking for something unique, I can't recommend this Street Art and Food Tour enough! From start to finish, it was an eye-opening journey through the vibrant neighborhood of NewTown, quite different than any other part of Sydney! A true hidden gem! Our guide was Dan and he was truly phenomenal. Not only was he knowledgeable but he was incredibly engaging. He told stories about the artist, their work, and the history behind each mural that contributed even more to the tour. The food was also amazing! Dan took us to the best spots that I would have completely missed if I were to do it on my own (Get the burnt caramel from the Turkish Ice Cream shop). Dan even went above and beyond to suggest other local favorites! So if you are contemplating something to do while in Sydney, I highly recommend!

Graffiti, Grub, and Good Vibes - We had a fantastic time on the Newtown Street Art and Food Tour! Daniel, our guide, had a great personality that made the tour fun and engaging. We learned about the history of Newtown, its vibrant street art culture, and the many artists whose work decorates the area. A bonus highlight was the stops at several local eateries, where we enjoyed some truly delicious bites. We also met some really interesting people on the tour, which added to the overall experience and made it even more enjoyable.

Fabulous! - This was a fabulous way to explore a little pocket of Sydney. Andrew was our tour guide and he was excellent. The tour timing was perfect - we never felt rushed, nor did it seem to drag. Loads of good information and the foodie stops were great as well. I would highly recommend this tour.

A great little adventure! - Newtown Street Art and Food Walking Tour. Our group had a lovely afternoon exploring the amazing array of steet art and food offerings in and around Newtown, thanks to our super guide Andrew, from Local Sauce Tours. Andrew was knowledgeable, informative and interesting. He was friendly, welcoming and comfortable to be around. His articulation was excellent - we learnt a lot about the art and artists alike, and also certainly enjoyed the food choices at the stops along the walk. It was a truly enjoyable experience that we are very happy to recommend. Just do it! It's good value for money.

Amazing way to experience locations - Fascinating tour with excellent host providing a great insight into Newtown's food scene, breweries and street art, the latter proving a lot more interesting than I expected! I have joined several Local Sauce tours in Sydney plus one in Brisbane and all have been 5-star experiences covering aspects that I would have missed as an independent traveler.
