Best money ever spent - This was the most amazing time on the river with Captain Scott. He is the true definition of professional and has a great personality. He provided the cutest little snack during our tour and the spread he put out was incredible. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our birthdays and Captain Scott made the day even more special for us. Schedule a tour and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thank you Captain Scott for an amazing day on the river.

Touched by an Angel - Everything about this excursion was amazing. The boat, the river, the weather. But then there's Scott. Who I'm convinced is just one of best examples of being Human that we have down here on earth. My wife and I and our two dogs were in from a year of living in a very tortured Downtown Portland, our nerves extremely frazzled. Our oldest dog, a Cattle dog Shepard mix, immediately ran right up to him to get pets and give kisses. Our Cattle dog doesn't like men, and she especially doesn't like tall men. But she ran right up to Scott like they were long lost friends. That was my first clue. Scott's KICK A$$ boat, extensive knowledge of the river, and incredible hosting skills (somehow he knew exactly when to engage us, and when to just let us sit quietly and enjoy the river) was the highlight of our week long trip. The snacks provided were just right and I can not say enough about our host. The entire 4 hour experience was intensely relaxing, a little fun and exciting (that boat can GO) and just what two anxious nervous systems needed. Thank you so much for your hospitality Scott. And Yacht Rock on. :)

Fun for all!! - Captain Scott is terrific!! First, we booked this tour, because it seemed like a fun event we could do with the entire family 12yrs to 65yrs! And, Yes it was! Captain Scott’s directions and communication of the meet up point were on point. He was so easy to locate. He gave us the overview and safety details and we were quickly on our way. We loved touring the Willamette River on the Jet Boat. The boat is unique to the river terrain and Captain Scott is a local who loves sharing his love of boating, the river and the history of the area. Our family would 100% recommend this tour if you are in the Portland or Williamette River Valley area.

Great trip - Myself any my better half did a 4-hour(ish) trip down the river with Scott yesterday. It was just the two of us and Scott. We tootled down the river at 35-40mph, stopped at a couple of islands, saw some wildlife, and more. The boat drafts less than 12" so it is able to go into very shallow waters which boats with traditional inboard or outboard engines wouldn't be able to venture. We were out on a holiday weekend, but because we were on part of the river which requires the ability to navigate shallow water, there were very few other boats-- mostly just a few people with kayaks or canoes. The price is very reasonable, compared to what we've paid to take private boat tours in other areas in the past, and considering you have the whole trip to yourself. Highly recommended.

Amazing trip - This was a gift given to us by our son-in-law & daughter. We traveled to the Wheatland Ferry with a stop along the way at a winery. Having spent a lot of time on the river with my brother growing up we saw new areas that I had not seen before. We chose to go in the fall & the colors were spectacular. They have a beautiful boat, very clean & well maintained. Would highly recommend.

A completely unique experience aboard an amazing machine! - Scott is a delight. He's a true professional and gentleman who has exquisite tastes when it comes to custom twin V8-powered jet boats. MatKat is a remarkable machine! This (private) charter includes a good mix of high-speed adventure and quiet and reflective sightseeing, nature watching and some history thrown in to boot. This is a very unique experience that will stick with you.

Sunset Cruise via jet boat on the Willamette River - In researching our impending visit to Oregon I came across NW Jet Boat Charter (NWjetboatcharter.com) and thought that this would be something interesting. It was and then some! We met the owner and captain of the boat (Scott) at Rogers Landing County Park in Newberg, just south of Portland for a sunset cruise up the river. The boat was immaculate, had all safety items necessary as well as some great snacks. The captain took us up the river to some unspoiled and virtually unseen parts of the river. (Don't forget your camera.) His planning and expertise was perfect and even included a "pit stop" at a local vineyard. We took the four hour sunset cruise but Scott has charters for every hour of the day. Looking for something different, relaxing and offering a great look at Oregon that many visitors and locals fail to see give NW Jet Boat charter a shot. You will be very happy that you did.
