Easy and simple - Easy and simple - just works fine; getting back from Sandfly Point also easy, just wait there and taxi is coming after about 15 min

Great day walk - The track is mostly flat but with lots of big and not big rocks on several patches of the path, so have the right hike shoes to protect your ankles and you’ll be fine 💪☺️ It took us about 1h30 one way and we stayed 30 minutes at falls taking pictures and eating our sandwiches and then same to travel back to the boat pickup. I’d say start earlier in the day like at 10am max, and then enjoy your hike even at a snail’s pace 😋

Fiordland Outdoors Co.... - Fiordland Outdoors Co. made this self-guided day walk in the Milford Sound Track very easy and fun. Drop-off and pick-up by the water taxi were very prompt and efficient, and the operator was very helpful. This was a fantastic way to hike part of the Milford Sound Track!

Great afternoon spent on the iconic Milford Track - We spent the night at the Milford Sound Lodge and decided to book the Milford Track Day Walk for the next morning. We enjoyed a lie-in at the lodge, caught the 11:30 am water taxi, and were ready and waiting for our pick-up at 2:30 pm. It was an incredible opportunity to see some of the iconic Milford Track without committing to a multi-day hike. It wasn't too strenuous at all and offered some incredible viewpoints and highlights. We loved stopping at Giant Gate Falls for a snack before making our way back.

Fine and Dandy - This was a nice trek. It was 3.30mi to the waterfall and took about 50-60 minutes to get to. There are a number of rocky areas so be careful not to trip or hurt an ankle. It can get congested and slow you down if you are an aggressive hiker. The costs seemed a tad steep for the 5-6 minute ferry ride so I think there’s some fleecing of tourist going on there. It should reasonably be $40-$50 NZD
