A must do activity, no disappointment - guaranteed. - From our meeting point near battery park at Starbucks, to our return over six hours later we were enthralled. Our host for the tour Jorge-not George, was a man not to be reckoned with and we on the tour were his people. He was a man of many words in duel languages. I didn't mind that he gave all information in first English then fluent Spanish as there were a variety of people from various countries on our tour, including some French vive la France, it just helped me improve my vocabulary and I for one loved hearing it. The introduction was amazing as he explained how he himself was an immigrant, so appropriate for the tour we were about to take. He led us through Battery park to our ferry terminal, keeping everyone in a group by shouting, come to me my peoole. This was hilarious and made us feel a little special from the start. He kept everyone informed of the reasons for the delay due to improvements, moved the whole queue swiftly, upsetting one of the rumbuctious ferry attendants. The tip he gave for the best shots of lady liberty once onboard were invaluable. He was not wrong either as we were able to take some amazing memories captured on film from a great vantage point. Top deck on the right for the non nautical among us. We met up after disembarking the ferry and were given the best history lesson from Jorge on the five most prominent people involved in the inception, building and funding of the 150 foot copper/iron lady. We moved on to be given the chance for a great vantage point for the best shots of both the great lady and the skyline of Manhattan. We then had the opportunity to peruse the artifacts in the Mueseum which were fascinating also and more photos were forthcoming. We took in the delights of the gift shop not before Moses, sorry Jorge stepped up on a plinth and again announced, come to me my people. After another short ferry ride to Ellis Island we once again we're given some superb historical facts and personal stories from the wonderful Jorge. This gent is a font of knowledge. He advised we could then either take the tour ourselves or head back to the ferry for Manhattan. My friend and I had not travelled all the way from the UK, to head back without taking the time to learn as much as we could ingest and take in the full experience that was Ellis Island. Let's face facts it may never have been called New York had we not invaded in the first place. Don't know how I feel regarding that fact to be honest. The Mueseum was awe inspiring from the images and artifacts to the interactive guides. We spent in total over six hours on this tour and yes we could have have cut it short, but honestly why would you with such history there at your finger tips. A trip my friend and I will never forget and one ticked off our bucket list. Thanks Jorge and Amigo yours.

The Statue of Liberty photo of the entrance to the country - Beautiful visit. Excellent explanations of the Stalina Guide and very interesting. It was a very good tour and the stories of the guide were what gave it the special taste.

Great experience - Our tour guide Sergio was amazing! You get on the ferry to get to both attractions but before boarding you go through security that is very similar to TSA. Once we arrived to the Statue of Liberty we stayed as a group and then got to explore a little on your own before getting on ferry to Ellis Island. (Note: if you want food get it at the Statue of Liberty stop) Ellis Island was nice you get a headset for guided tour which we were not able to enjoy unfortunately. We had another attraction planned so we had to leave fairly early. My recommendation is do not plan another activity on the day you book this one. You will not have enough time to enjoy Ellis Island. All in all great experience and happy we did it.

Really good comprehensive tour. - Really comprehensive tour, Jay from Amigo tours was an excellent guide. Probably spent a little too long on Liberty island and not enough at Ellis.

Great to see, but dont bother with audio tour. - The actual trip was great. However, the downloaded audio guide didnt work on eithet mine or my husbands phone. We both followed directions and at hotel with wifi, it said it had downloaded. Also didnt seem to matter what time we booked, we arrived 1 hr early and was let on.

Instruction unclear - Be careful if you take a tour with audioguide it is useless, the audio is free on the site. Be as careful as on the 10 emails you will receive 1 only allows to load the ticket (and it is not clear because if you download the Qr code you are refused entry and told to go in front of Starbucks to wait for the guide that ultimately returns you to the entrance... Unfortunately the good link was spammed ... unlike the other emails) Anyway, it took us 1.30 hours before we knew how to do it, and no one told us what to do... 1 ticket to put in your wallet it would be much easier In short buy directly at the entrance of the park c is simple.

Horrible experience - Horrible service. Dont waste your money to book the tour here. If you want, you just need to go there, buy a ticket and go see statue. We showed up at meeting place, the instruction said the guide will be there but no one. Everybody confused and we decided just go to ferry ourselves. I truly want refund. Bad experience, bad service. I changed my mind to book viator tour when i go to Japan.
