Immerse yourself into the profound story of the Lady Liberty at the Statue of Liberty National Monument. - The activity runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability) or be offered a refund
- Dress appropriately for the weather. Downtown Manhattan is particularly windy
- Security screenings will take place prior to entering the ferry and pedestal at the statue. The Statue of Liberty is managed by the United States Park Police and visitors to the park are required to undergo airport-style security screenings. All persons and property are subject to search.
- Prohibited items: any weapons (self-defense or otherwise), locking blades, tools of any kind, large non-folding umbrellas, tripods, laptops, tablet keyboards, luggage, coolers, drones, basketballs, sewing kits, lighter fluid, and anything propelled by aerosol.
- Backpacks, strollers, large items, & food and beverages must be checked into lockers on Liberty Island prior to entering the statue pedestal. These lockers are available for $0.25 per locker. This fee is NOT included in the tour price.

Please meet your guide on the steps outside of Castle Clinton's North Entrance (the far side from the water).
The tour guide will be there 15 minutes before the tour starts and will be wearing an orange hat AND/OR a blue shirt or jacket.

Great family tour! - Jack was a great guide! I felt like he explained so much of what we were seeing in a way that was both helpful and interesting. Our family of six truly enjoyed our tour.

Great guide! - Owen was a great guide as he shared so much knowledge about Lady Liberty and Ellis Island. He made recommendations about photo stops and fun facts about the statue. He was very prompt and professional but also fun and accommodating.

Fantastic, intimate, informative tour! - The trip was incredibly informative and fun. Meri, our tour guide, was the absolute best. We learned things a seasoned New Yorker wouldn’t know. Meri was so gracious and helpful with my 80 year old Mom. The one thing I would say is if you do the Statue of Liberty (which I highly recommend) know you will wait a long time in the ferry line to catch a ferry back to NY if you go to Ellis island. For us, it wasn’t worth the stop to stand in line in the hot sun for 1:15. You can just stay on the ferry after visiting the statue and head back to NY.

Worth the added price to be private for my family. - Meri did a great job sharing the history with my family. She made it fun, and was very professional. My young kids were comfortable asking questions because it was private.
She made sure we were on the right spot on the boat for pics and air and helped us manage the lines.

A ‘must see’ when visiting NYC - Our guide, Jake W., was so knowledgeable! He gave us lots of information in a clear and entertaining way. His voice projects well and we were able to hear everything. One of the best tour guides we have had, and there have been many over the years. Don’t miss the museum on Liberty Island. It’s worth visiting just to see the original torch.

Best Statue of Liberty Tour - Absolutely the best tour my wife and I have been on!! Jake (our tour guide) made this experience very memorable for us! He is very engaging, funny, and gives very insightful stories. He took the time to take amazing photos of us at the Statue. We will be back with more family and will ask to book with him. If you are looking to for a Statue of Liberty Tour, ask for him!!

Painful - Our private guide had extreme difficulty detailing the tour to our wishes. Way too much boring detail was given. We tried to tell her to stop and she just couldn’t help herself. Painful - we all couldn’t wait for it to end. Not what you want when you pay for a private tour.
