Great food and great cultural history - Great food and a great cultural history of the Nolita neighborhood. Liz was excellent and answered all our questions. Although we've been to NYC many times and are somewhat familiar with little Italy and Chinatown, she told us lots of things we never knew about this historic area!

Amazing food & history tour! - We took the Global Bites Tour with Liz in October - what an amazing experience!! We've been on food tours before that were great, but this one was above and beyond our expectations! We visited six different, unique places - all with great stories and history of both the location and the area of New York that Liz shared with us along the way. At each stop we had generous samples of signature dishes so that by the end of our tour, we were so full, but still managed to make room for our amazing gelato at Figo! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour - Liz was an amazing guide and we left with a true appreciation of this part of New York and the people that have made their homes here and brought their rich food culture to the area.

Another Great Ahoy Food Tour - This was our third Ahoy tour in New York. I think it’s becoming a tradition! Even though our tour was in the midst of record-breaking rainfall, Liz was so accommodating and gracious. Her history of the neighborhoods and great sense of humor made us feel like we were with longtime friends. We enjoyed touring so many businesses that were women-owned. I can’t recommend this tour enough. If you want to try authentic cuisine and have a lot of fun and learn cool facts in the process, don’t miss this tour!

Yum, fun and so informative! - This tour is amazing. Liz, our guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. We had an array of delicious food from various ethnicities (and plenty to fill you up). We enjoyed learning history of the Nolita and walking around to see it. I also love this is a woman owned small business. I highly recommend the tour!

A fun day with Liz - We enjoyed our tour with Liz. She was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us. The food we tasted was pretty good. The falafel was good, but on another tour we had the falafel as a pita sandwich and it was so much better. The spring roll was great if you like spring rolls. One person in our group didn’t, so after one or two bites, it got thrown away. So that was a bit of a waste. The pasta dish was good. Overall I’d say it was a good tour.
