Best Tour in NYC !!! - What a tremendous tour. Every bit of it was extremely interesting. Led by Dennis, an NYC undercover cop and eventual detective, who grew up in Little Italy with an encyclopedic knowledge of the events from the beginning of the Cosa Nostra through present day. A great story-teller, Dennis made the many stops along the tour feel like a walk-through history? Add to that, and absolutely great taste of Little Italy. If you do just one tour in New York City, this has got to be it!

New York’s Five Families - If you are curious about the American Mafia you need to come and spend a night with Dennis. The stories he tells you and you see where they happened you can almost picture yourself there. Dennis saw a lot of how the mafia controlled little Italy from a child up to his early twenties and ironically ended up having a career in the NYPD. This meant his whole family and friends disowned him as no one in little Italy talked to the police. What a sacrifice. You will hear stories and see the actual places crime happened all linked to the five families who controlled little Italy. There was also surprises on the trip especially who his neighbours were either side of his family home. I won’t say who so you need to go on the tour to find out. If this wasn’t enough we were taken to three amazing places for some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted.Highlight of my trip in New York.

Highly recommend, excellent experience. - Highly recommend this tour/experience. Dennis was excellent, a retired NYPD detective very knowledgeable of the area and mafia history - extremely interesting, great to learn about the movie connections to places in the locality. Food was delicious. Thank you Dennis, a NY highlight!

Great tour with great food - Dennis was really great and had some interesting stories. Also, the food was outstanding and really brought the whole tour together. I toured with my girlfriend who is gluten free and each stop was very accommodating.

Awful - Huge group of people on tour!! We've taken many Viator around the world, this was ridiculous. Couldn't hear or ask questions of your guide, total waste of time and money. 30 people crowded in NY streets and restaurants!!
