Funny, informative and tasty tour with a guide that will help you through your trip! - We did this tour with Brian as our guide. Brian was funny and informative and clearly knows his stuff about New York food. We tried different food local food places we would never have tried without the tour so really worth doing. Brian was also extremely helpful with recommendations for any and all cuisines in New York, not just during our tour but also via email at any point during our trip which was extremely appreciated. Would 100% recommend for anyone that wants to try food you wouldn't think of trying as a tourist. Thanks Brian!

Insightful experience - Mickey was my tour guide and she guided us very well it was very insightful session. Mickey also went beyond her duties. She got her own paper plates for the food tour and made sure we ate our food before we started walking again and she also made sure to throw our used plates without us having to look for a dustbin. She is a superb guide.

Interesting history and tasty food samples - Our guide Jessie was wonderful. A very good storyteller, full of interesting bits of history. Nice balance of serious facts and humor and fun trivia. The 4 foods we sampled were all tasty, but on the smaller side. Think of it more as a tasting tour and not a meal replacement. Don't worry, you're not left hungry! But these are smaller "try it" samples. Love that they prioritize immigrant businesses, both old and newer. We had some excellent fried pork dumplings, two kinds of italian cheese, a part of a potato knish, and a chocolate rugelach. And you end at Essex Market, so lots of options to buy interesting things if you're wanting to sample even more foods on your own.
