Wow - next level experience - I am so so glad we saw the add before going on the C train to go midtown!!! What a stunning experience - we stayed for 3.5 hours and were absolutely immersed in the exhibits. The only place we have seen things like that before is Dubai… A true journey that covers all senses and gives you time to/ slowness and feeling in a world that is rushed, has a low attention span and tends to feel overloaded. It is sth for the whole family to connect, journey and experience together…

Good for something different to do in NYC, But think twice about the cost. - This is a fairly good experience. You are immersed in a visual fantasy with multiple rooms of different kinds of experiences, all are quite different but some are just so so. We went through the 'Maestros and the Machines' exhibit. I am not sure it was worth what we paid, but it did get us out of the heat and got us something new to do. We have experienced a better one in Las Vegas though.

Underwhelming - I had read some great reviews about this, and I was really looking forward to it. It did not live up to the hype. Some rooms were neat (Dragon, in particular), but most were repetitive. I get it, mirrors are cool. I have to say that the folks working there were all very nice. 30 minutes tops, 45 if you have kids and you stop at the coloring tables. (Crayons and paper, not very high tech). Hard to recommend.

Okay, lot of sizzle... - Pretty underwhelming but okay. Kids will probably like it especially. For example, one room was a bunch of LED lights and a lot of mirrors. Alright. It's funny, because the whole premise is that technology will enhance art, and, to me, they mostly proved the opposite. Technology can produce great art, but the underlying concept and inspiration better be great to begin with.

To avoid - Ultra commonplace. Films projected on walls with a deafening soundtrack. Bof bof. Not at all immersive, and plan a garment because the air conditioning is also refrigerating here. I did EN fact not understand what I was witnessing. Art fans won’t find it in their favor, DE technology fans will depress. As for the price, since we had a pass, it was not too painful. Fortunately, this quirk CANNOT seriously cost more DE $20 per person. Finally, I doubt that even children will have fun there. To be used EN last resort to stay cool if you've seen it all in NYC.

Had a Concussion, Terrible Response from Management - I went with friends to the exhibition, and we enjoyed the lights and mirrors of the show. However, I had a serious fall in the ball pit room and am frustrated with and disappointed in the response from management. The exhibition requires you to wear coverings on your feet, as there are some rooms with mirrored floors and they don't want you to leave tracks. These work for those rooms, but these coverings make you lose all tread and grip. So when I approached the ball pit, a dark room with a ramp, I slipped and fell. There is NO signage anywhere about the ramp. There is no sign advising that you take caution because you are in shoe coverings, making you slide around. After I fell, I saw another 2 people fall. I landed on my tailbone and for the following 6 weeks, had symptoms like headaches and brain fog that interfered with my work. My doctor just diagnosed me with post-concussion syndrome. When I called the lab and told an operator about my post-concussion syndrome, she connected me to a manager Jakob Telepman. He curtly said "Send me an email." He didn't show any concern or say, "I'll look into this right away" or "Thank you for bringing this to my attention" or "I'm sorry to hear that happened." I asked him if he knew my situation, and he said, "Yeah, I heard." That was it. About a ten-second conversation. I sent him an email, and I doubt I'll ever hear from him. Management: please address the exhibition's safety. Modify the ball pit so that others don't have injuries. And train your managers in customer support.
