Highly recommended! - Great experience! I knew nothing about Brooklyn. The walk across and into DUMBO was wonderful! Scott is a wealth of information on both NYC and Brooklyn. He also gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit in the future. It was exceptionally hot and humid, which was very good at keeping us in the shade and/or a/c as necessary. And he recommended a fantastic place for lunch in DUMBO.

Enjoyable and Informative - We took this tour as a family—my wife and I, along with our 9- and 11-year-old kids. It happened to be a rainy day, so several people who had booked didn’t show up, and it ended up being just the four of us. We had a fantastic time! Our guide, Scott, is a local with deep knowledge of the area and its history. You could point to any building, and he’d have a story or some historical insight to share. The tour moved at a relaxed, comfortable pace, and Scott—who’s very personable—took the time to answer all of our questions. We wrapped up the tour with some excellent food recommendations and easy-to-follow directions for getting back to Manhattan on the subway. All in all, it was a great experience for the whole family.

Now we love Brooklyn! - Great tour of a part of NYC we had only seen from our car driving to and from the area. While it is a bit of walking, the pace was easy and there was plenty of time to take pictures and take in all the landmarks.
