Great city overview - Great tour to see the various sights and neighbout hoods especially for a first time visit. Took this as part of the GoPass which allowed me to see multiple sights. This gave me 2 days of hop on hop off.

Don't book this bus tour!! - The bus never showed up!! We arrived at 47th St. and 7th Ave at 850am. The bus was supposed to be there at 900am. After waiting for 45 minutes, we bought a bus tour with another company. The bus company we decided to go with, advised us that New York Iconic Cruises (The name of the bus company) would not show up. They were right!! Viator should be ashamed they are selling tickets for this company. They would not refund us. What a scam!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - What a terrible experience with this company. They are certainly not hop on hop off. We waited over half an hour to board the bus (big red bus and top trip went past 4 times before ours turned up. When we alighted at Times Square we were told we had to return to the same stop to get the bus again! We obviously didn’t want to retrace our very valuable steps and waste time so we walked the 4 miles back to our hotel. Not once did our bus go by - but lots of the other rival buses did. DO NOT USE this company. No customer service whatsoever !!

Pesima Experiencia con ICON esta compañia de Hop on Hop off - 1.144 / 5.000 It has been one of the worst experiences we took a while to find where the bus would arrive the bus took 45 minutes to arrive eh the expression of all the others who sell the service said it was the worst company when the bus arrives it arrives without a single passenger the driver asks me for my ticket I ask him to show me what the route is and the stop record he tells me that he needs to see my ticket first eh the truth is that it did not inspire confidence the gentleman who was at the stop who works for them grabs his father who gets on the bus and only my wife, me, the driver and the gentleman who had asked were with the bus and the truth is that it did not inspire confidence the bus was not logged eh it only had an orange color I do not recommend it and when I complained asking for a refund they only gave me back 325 MXN of 2560 MXN that I paid for 2 tickets just be careful if you hire them my recommendation is that you hire them directly in Times Square Even when I returned to the shift with another company I hired the bus it appeared and in all the 7 days I was there I never saw a big orange tour truck

Awful!!! Stay well away!!! - This was the worst hop on and hop off I have ever been on. Firstly, there was no representative of Iconic on any street in New York. There was also no sighting of the bus. The instructors said to meet outside Olive Garden in Times Square. This was misinformation. We waited there for over an hour in the morning and at various stops (apparent stops) in New York. Nothing!!! Absolutely awful and I feel like I have been scammed. I paid £186 for my family, 2 adults and 2 children. It ruined our New York experience. I tried to contact a representative but there was no reply. Shocking!!!!

Iconic bad experience - I had booked this hop-on hop-off (Iconic Tours through Tripadvisor) and it was very much below expectations. My son and I arrived around 10am at the starting point (Times Square). While buses from other companies (Big Bus and Top View) were continuously arriving and leaving, we were waiting and waiting. At first we were told we would have to wait half an hour, this was later extended to another half hour (‘due to a breakdown ‘). After 1.5 hour, when we almost started to buy a ticket with another company in order not to loose our day, finally our bus arrived. We had to wait another half hour for it to depart. Apart from us, there were only 2 other people on the bus, who complained the day before they had to wait very long as well - and we started to understand the impopularity. The bus drove us along its route untill Battery Park - where the other 2 people left. Given the low frequency, we had decided not to hop off and just do the round-trip. A lot of people entered the bus here and it drove strangely to Manhattan Bridge, where the whole group left. We suspected a detour, until we arrived at Battery Park for the second time. When we asked the driver, he confessed he was not aware we were still on his bus and told he was not going back to Times Square. So we left the bus and continued our trip using the excellent NY metro system. In brief, we didn’t get what was offered (round trip), and the frequencies of buses was too low. Maybe this was just a bad day with bad service, however I would strongly recommend tourists to avoid Iconic Tours.

It was poor business and very disappointing - There wasn’t a memorable part. The bus never came after waiting 2 hours. The guy from iconic that was there did not seem interested in helping us. In fact, he was quite rude and disappeared shortly after we got to the pickup location. I have already filed a refund request.

Your ticket went unused.... - Your ticket went unused. Hop On Off could not receive your ticket. Both you and Hop On Off refused a refund of my $39.

Don't do it!! - So not worth the money. We thought we would get some history of New York, but got nothing. Zero information on iconic sites, many we didn't even go past. There was mostly music on the ear buds and almost no information. Don't waste your time. We have done on/off buses in other cities, they were great, this was a waste of time
