10 out of 10 Highly recommended - David was an awesome host & tour guide!! Pls Come hungry for this walking tour. Enjoy well-selected restaurants. Delicious Food portions were generous. ( loved the cheese boat demonstration at one venue!) David has a good knowledge of N.Y. history kept our group intently listening and engaged. Part 2 of this tour walked up to Central Park and strawberry Fields and more. We made new friends , Loved everything about the tour and we'd all go back to take David's tour in a New York Heart Beat.

The Guide Matters - My wife and I took the Hell's Kitchen Food and Central Park Stroll with David Turk. The food selected for the tour was outrageously delicious. In five or six stops we experienced a broad range of delights from this gastronomically rich part of Manhattan. The Cheese Boat from the country of Georgia, the fourth stop on the tour, sounds like a joke, but we've never tasted anything more scrumptious. Think pizza to the power of 10. The stroll through Central Park after the food part of the tour was all that saved us from having to hibernate for the winter after all that food. Dave's love for that oasis in the heart of the city was evident. Even though we'd visited the park many times, we learned new and interesting facts. The skill Manhattan Walking Tour demonstrated selecting Dave for the tour was even more impressive. Dave took the trouble when we met to learn about us. Then he generously shared his extensive knowledge of the area with us, tailoring it to our particular interests in culture, history, architecture and, even geology. No Schist! Before writing this I noodled around the Internet and discovered a bit about Dave's background as an entrepreneur, caterer, teacher and coach. He clearly learned his craft and faithfully applies the skills he teaches others to these tours.

A great intro to Hell’s Kitchen - Alex was an excellent tour guide. He found a great balance between giving us some history about Hell’s Kitchen and answering our other questions and general conversation. The food was delicious, especially the Cheese Boat and the Roti! The walk through Central Park was also a nice way to relax after eating too much.

Wonderful walking tour!! - The tour was a great way to experience Hell’s Kitchen and learn more about the history of the area. Our guide, Claire, was wonderful at weaving historical stories into the walking tour, stopping and starting with the restaurant stops along the way. Our walking tour through Central Park exposed us to much more than just a stroll through a beautiful place. Claire provided great information on the history of the park along with a locals perspective. She was kind enough to give us directions on how to use the subway to get back to our hotel which was a fun experience to cap off the day. Don’t hesitate to book this tour if you have an afternoon to enjoy the city.

Amazing tour that won’t leave you hungry! - We had the best time doing a tours of Hell’s Kitchen. The food was amazing, we were told to come hungry, and it did not disappoint. They even catered for the food intolerances in the group which meant no-one missed out as we went around. Alex was a fantastic guide and his passion for the history of the area really made the tour special.

Great tour even for home grown New Yorkers - My friend and I are New Yorkers and enjoy exploring the city as if we have never been here before. Our tour guide Claire was fantastic, she provided fabulous fun histories and neighborhood folklore while taking us to several yummy restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen. The tour also included several highlights of Central Park. I was raised in Manhattan and still learned things about the Park I never knew!
