Dyker Heights Christmas Lights - The Perfect Ending to our First Day in NCY - This was a perfect plan after a very early and busy day for my family, which included a 10-year-old grandson. The tour bus ride gave us an opportunity to get off our feet while enjoying the ride to Dyker Heights. The lights were amazing! It was like Christmas lights on steroids! Our tour guide was fabulous. She was full of energy and details about the area. We walked a number of blocks to see the lights up close. And we were able to take pictures! It was a perfect end to our very busy day.

Great Christmas Lights Tour - My friend and I had a very good time on this Dyker Heights Christmas tour. We meet at a convenient location in Times Square and a big Greyhound type bus took us to Dyker Heights. Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable of the area. When we got to the location and got off the bus we followed our tour guide. It was hard to hear him on the device he was using to speak in and we got lost from the group a couple of times. Luckily he gave everyone his number to contact if we got lost lol. The Dyker Heights neighborhood we saw were very nice and festival decorated. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was great - We had a great night visiting Dyker Heights to see the houses with Christmas decorations. The tour is just like the Tripadvisor page says: First we went to see the lights, being on site for about an hour I think, and then we went to two more places in Brroklyn to have good views of Manhattan. In Dyker Heights we walked several streets in the van and then on foot. We were picked up promptly at the pickup location and eventually dropped off at a central Manhattan location. The van was clean and spacious. We were like four groups if I remember correctly. Best of all, the tour was in Spanish, I think the only one offered in this language to see the Christmas lights. I highlight the two guides, both the one who gave us the main talk and who then accompanied us on foot to the places, as well as who manages. Everyone had their own personality, which made the trip great. Very funny the main guide, gave the tour the touch, no doubt. Very cool his personality. Of course, when we walked I was going a little fast. It was nothing exaggerated, but among so many people on site it was easy to get lost and on one occasion the group split in two. Before proceeding, my advice is to check that everyone follows you, so this would be avoided. While he had a guide stick, maybe putting a flashing light on it would help. Except for that, which did not affect the experience at all, everything was great with him as a guide (unfortunately I do not remember his name to place him, nor the driver, although as a reference for Tour America, we took the tour on December 14, 2024). Good memory. Thank you!

For those who like Christmas - For those who like Christmas. I loved the walk. Departing from downtown Manhattan gave to see the city lit and the beautiful sunset when arriving in Dyker Hights. The houses are beautiful, we had time to walk and have a hot chocolate. It was all great. My only criticism is that the guide, though very good, was of Hispanic origin and was not always easy to understand your English.

Dyker Heights despite police - Crazy experience - driver Jimmy and guide Camila did everything to make sure we could see the Christmas lights at Dyker Heights although the police didn't want the bus stop! Thank you!

An awesome tour! - This Dyker Heights Christmas Lights bus tour was awesome! It was out first time in NYC, therefore our first trip to see Dyker Heights. The tour host was very nice & gave lots of facts about city & landmarks we passed along the way. He did a great job of making sure the group stayed together so that no one got lost. The driver was also nice & did a great job getting us there & back safely. They took us to Bay Ridge first to see some nicely decorated houses, we approached this stop as it was way less crowded than Dyker Heights. Dyker Heights had SO MANY over the top decorations as well as some toned-down more simplistic & classic Christmas decor. There were homes who were selling hot chocolates & treats as well as food trucks set up. Do beware there is nowhere to go to the bathroom in Dyker Heights but there is a bathroom on the bus, so that's a plus. After leaving from there, we made a stop along the water before crossing back over to head back to the city. We got to see the Brooklyn Bridge & Manhattan skyline all lit up at night & it was absolutely beautiful!! That was our favorite part of the trip!

Highly recommend - Extremely enjoyable and very well organised. Daniel our tour guide was great. He was really clear on what was happening, how long things would take and shared lots of interesting information throughout the trip. The walking tour was very busy in places but didn’t impact on being able to see the houses and take photos. The stop at Brooklyn bridge was the highlight, amazing views. Would definitely recommend.

Impressed and Disappointed - I wanted to give this tour 5 stars, but it fell short. The tour began with a warm and cozy tour bus on a cold and rainy evening. The tour guide, introduced himself and led us through a decent introduction. If you can get past the word "um" every two words, you'll be okay. He explained to us the stops we would be making and we got a great laugh when he described them as the "appetizer," "main course," and dessert. The tour itself was incredible. The houses were breathtaking and despite the cold, rainy night, we enjoyed our tour. With that being said, it was not guided. Here's my biggest complaint. On the last stop, we got out and had an opportunity for a picture with the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC Skyline. Most of our group stayed on the bus due to the weather, but my husband and I chose to brave it. As our tour guide skipped around (literally), we asked if he could take a picture of us. He promptly said, "No." We stood there kind of shocked, until he finally said, "Ask someone else in the tour." This was a huge letdown. Dyker Heights and the homes were incredible. The tour lacked.

Brooklyn Lights were great! - The amount of extra walking made it difficult for us, so we stayed back in the bus. It was possibly going to be stopped by the police, so they parked away from the original entrance.

Don’t waste your time - Very disorganized. The guides accent was so strong that no one could understand her. Left tour early and took an Uber back to the hotel. Half the bus left early also! The bus took us to a street and dropped us off. After walking around 2 short streets for over an hour the bus was no where to be found. Had to wait 45 minutes. Waste of time.
