A 5-STAR TOUR GUIDE! - A 5-STAR TOUR GUIDE! This walking tour was OUTSTANDING! Our tour guide, DAVE, was PHENOMENAL! I cannot say enough about him. From the moment we first met until we said our good-byes, Dave was INCREDIBLE! When we met up with Dave at Old City Hall, he greeted us with handshakes and a big smile! VERY ENGAGING. Dave told us a bit about himself and then asked about each of us. In doing so, he set us off on the RIGHT FOOT! I and my three visiting guests from Spain were thrilled when Dave threw in a bit of Spanish here and there throughout his commentary. Along with his CHARMING personality, Dave's EXTENSIVE knowledge of the stops along the tour was IMPECCABLE. Again, I cannot say enough about this tour guide and his work. Not only did Dave share ENLIGHTENING information and FUN FACTS, he also answered all of our questions with ease. It was obvious that Dave enjoys his job. With all the historical and factual details that he shared, one can only be thankful to have gotten Dave as a tour guide. Along the route, he pointed out the best places for photographs and even took a few so that I and my guests could all be together in the picture. As someone who lives in Manhattan, I was very IMPRESSED, not only with all that Dave knew for the tour, but also the amount of additional information he had about New York City as a whole. As an aficionado of the American Revolution, I shared with Dave some of my own knowledge regarding the Battle of Brooklyn. It was very special to me when Dave pointed out the actual sites where the battle took place, as well as details that even I didn't know. We were extremely lucky to have Dave as our tour guide. His professionalism, great customer service, and genuine interest in the subject matter, as well as in his clients, were all quite IMPRESSIVE! When the tour finished, it had been our original plan to take an uber or taxi back to Manhattan in order to catch a ferry at Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty. However. in order to save time, Dave suggested we take a local ferry from Brooklyn to the Wall Street dock just across the East River. Not only was this a way to cool down from the bright noonday sun, it also was a perfect vantage point to enjoy the SPECTACULAR view of the Brooklyn Bridge from the water! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dave to anyone interested in taking one of your tours. I certainly will be asking for him again in the future. KUDOS TO DAVE!
