Embark on a thrilling off-road adventure in the renowned Sonoran desert on a multi-passenger UTV! For single-passenger ATV bookings, refer to our ‘Centipede Tour - Guided Arizona Desert Tour by ATV.’ Traverse some of the premier trails that Arizona boasts. The tours are conveniently poised just north of Phoenix, at the foot of the striking Bradshaw Mountains. On this picturesque and informative journey through the rough Arizona terrain, you’ll have the chance to spot a plethora of desert fauna. The entire experience will last up to 3 hours, including up to 1 hour for check-in and up to 2 hours of training and riding.

- Must be 16+ to drive with a valid ID
- Must be at least 4-years-old to ride as a passenger
- A signed waiver will be required in order to participate
- All minors must be accompanied by a parent
- Must be at least 18+ with a valid ID and credit or debit card to book

- For the best experience we recommend booking the early morning tour times, temps are cooler and group sizes are smaller

Guided UTV - We had an awesome time. From check in to getting helmet for the kids, to the trails, the staff were awesome! We did the guided UTV tour and our guide Austin was great! He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding ecosystem and made sure we had great pictures. Unlike other tours that we have been on before, we had plenty of time on trail- about 2hrs. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

First timers in a UTV - We had an excellent time. The equipment was flawless. Beau was an awesome tour guide! Be prepared for some bumps. Also plan to get a little bit dirty. We had a great time!

You won’t regret doing this one! - So fun! Do it! But be ready for the mud. You will get dirty. Guides are awesome. Very easy to find. Good parking

Family Adventure w/ kids - We had a blast doing the centipede UTV tour! We brought our children with us ages 4 & 8 and we all had a great time! They had booster seats helmets, goggles etc for the kids. What a neat way to see the desert and get some great photos along the way! Highly recommend!!

Great fun! - Great experience. My husband & I did it last year & brought the grandkids back this year so they could do it. (21 years old & 14) It is NOT easy though. Our 21 year old granddaughter said she would rather ride next time than drive! 😂 She is strong & fit but she had to concentrate & was a little nervous.

Great Fun - We had so much fun, on arrival most people were directed to the UTV experience due to the conditions, it had been raining and there were puddles and mud which would have made the ATVs difficult for beginners. Rich and Gerdan made sure people felt comfortable with the pace and told us which drive and gears to use. There were stops where you could change drivers or have some water. All in all an excellent experience.

UTV adventure - We did the guided UTV tour on the centipede trail. We got to see some amazing scenery and even a wild donkey. The business side of things was very professional. I would come back to this place again

If you’re looking for an... - If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure, the UTV tour through the desert is an absolute must. From start to finish, the experience is thrilling, scenic, and packed with excitement.
The tour began with a quick safety briefing and an introduction to the UTVs, which were well-maintained and easy to handle, even for beginners. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt comfortable before hitting the dunes. As soon as we started, the thrill was immediate—the roar of the engine, the wind in your face, and the vast desert landscape unfolding before your eyes.
The desert terrain is absolutely stunning, with miles of golden dunes and unique rock formations, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. There were plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos, with the guides sharing interesting facts about the local flora and fauna. But what made the experience truly special was the sheer adrenaline rush as we navigated through the sand dunes. The UTVs handled everything effortlessly, from sharp turns to steep climbs, offering a perfect blend of excitement and control.
The guide even took us on some more challenging trails, allowing us to get the full experience of the desert’s rugged beauty. There were moments where we went from calm, scenic views to high-speed rides that had everyone laughing and cheering. It was exhilarating!
The tour also provided a great balance of adventure and relaxation. After the high-speed dunes, we were able to stop at a scenic viewpoint to catch our breath and enjoy a cool drink. The whole experience felt immersive, engaging, and incredibly fun.
Overall, the UTV desert tour is a perfect combination of adventure, scenic beauty, and adrenaline. Whether you’re an experienced off-roader or a complete beginner, it’s an experience you won’t forget. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the desert in an exciting, unique way!

Read the waiver before your cancellation deadline - We decided not to take the tour after reading the waiver, so the low rating is for that and not the experience. Make sure to read the waiver as soon as you get it. We could not cancel for a refund because we read it too late. We were expecting the standard accepting risk and promise not to sue waiver. This one requires you to pay for anything that might break on your trip including a flat tire, which could happen in regular riding and without knowing their maintenance schedule. The person checking us in was very nice but could not explain why we needed an additional photo as well as the one on our driver's license. They also kept your id and credit card while you went on the trip. For these reasons we did not feel comfortable completing the trip.
