Local and passionate tour guide experience :) - Erin was an amazing and highly informed tour guide. You can tell she is very passionate about history and her city. I learned a lot on her tour and it felt very personalized. She was very open to questions and flexible based on the interests of our group. I would highly recommend a tour with Erin :) she’s the tour guide equivalent of your favorite high school history teacher who made learning about history fun.

Too good, must do, "hidden gem" - Erin is AMAZING literally the best tour guide I have ever had and I've had a lot of tour guides. She was not just informative, but nuanced and knew the answers to every question. It's clear she loves this city, if not from this tour, then from her detailed and meticulously created reddit FAQ section on the r/AskNOLA subreddit. She happily went over the allotted tour time and was so respectful and open minded about everything. I literally went on this crime tour just now and I am thinking about what a good tour guide Erin was. You really realize how good someone is when they become the benchmark for other tours. Anyway she was good and this tour was everything.

Excellent tour - add it to your itinerary! - Claire was a fantastic tour guide. The storytelling was clear, engaging, and clearly a passion of theirs. I’d been to some of the locations before, but Claire provided so much more information about the historical and present day neighborhood and culture. This tour helped me love New Orleans even more.

Fun tour with lots of NOLA gems - The tour was informative, engaging and I learned and saw a lot of Treme and NOLA. Angelina/ Angela was a fun tour guide, she used specific music to further add depth to the tour and was mindful of the temperature outside, lol. $ well spent.

Brilliantly knowledgeable guide - I’d give Erin our tour guide 6 stars if I could. Vastly knowledgeable not only about the tour she was giving but New Orleans and its history too. She gave us a deep insight into the Treme neighborhood, the injustices and destruction served upon black communities in New Orleans, as well as the contemporary issues facing the area. She managed to impart about 4 tours of information in a way that was engaging, funny, warm, and spirited. Thank you Erin for bringing history alive!
