Short, affordable relaxing cruise - My family and myself had a great time on the Natchez Steamboat ride. We love this cruise and take it every year.

Great boat ride! - We had a great experience on this boat ride . The narrations were very interesting and informative. The music was also very nice. I would definitely recommend to others.

Family fun - This boat ride allows you to see the city from a unique perspective, providing a different experience compared to traditional sightseeing. The local and classy atmosphere also adds an authentic touch to the trip, making it a memorable and worthwhile experience. Overall, taking this boat ride should definitely be on your list of things to do in New Orleans.

Vegetarian option - Advertised vegetarian dish of pasta primavera but there was not one. So I ended up eating side dishes only.

Skip the Meal - The food was just so-so. Not great. We would do cruise only in future. Salad dressing was too spicy for some of us. Other food was only okay the experience in the boat was fun except we could not hear the narrator. We were on second deck. It would be nice if the narration was offered online so we could listen on our phones. I’m sure it was interesting. Music was fun except for music during dinner was pretty bad.

The experience is great, the food is only ok. - This was recommended to us by our hotel, so we did very little research before booking. The experience was great, there was a narration of what could be seen while on route up the river, but we were on the opposite side of the boat! The views of the landscape are quite lovely. Especially at sunset on the way back. The food is ok. No more than ok. The service on the boat was fantastic. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Most annoying thing was the fog horn going off and scaring the bejesus out of me as I’m relaxing. The jazz music was excellent quality.

Fun evening in New Orleans! - It was a nice cruise - the food was good, the guests were all fun (even though there was the typical overindulgence in alcohol creating some poor behavior) , and we enjoyed the trip. The only issue we has was that we made dinner reservations for 6pm and when we checked in they had moved us to the 7:45 seating without any communication. However, when we asked to be moved back, they accommodated the request - so no real complaints in general.

Was hoping and expecting more.. - When we first arrived on the ship, there was a very kind lady that offered to take our photos for us as we were all dressed up for a bachelorette party. After snapping a few, she asked we leave a review for her and the ship. Had that been the one and only interaction about that, this would have been a very different review. However, not once, not twice, but three separate occasions, this woman was telling us to be sure to send in a review. Just felt way too forced and unauthentic. Then came dinner which was another experience we could have done without. I understand they were very busy with many different parties, but we had to speak with a manager in order to get anyone over to our table for so much as a drink order, let alone our food. Truly what we got out of this was the ride down the river which was beautiful, but most definitely not worth the cost of the tickets and food. Food was mediocre at best, I think we would have been better off saving our money and going for an actual special meal, but you live and you learn I suppose. This was sadly the most expensive activity we booked for the trip, thinking it would be fun and have some dancing. Not the case, save your money and go to bourbon street

Was a decent trip but scenery was not that great as u are looking at refinery and other industrial things. - Staff were nice and was easy to get on boat but scenery was just decent. Best to be on the left side of boat to hear the commentary.

False advertisement - We were advised that the boat was docking and boarding was at 6:30pm sharp. After waiting in the heat for a long line, they advised we were boarding the wrong boat after the email and confirmation instructions specifically have in all caps “Natchez” we then go to the boat next to it just to sit there 3 hours on 4th of July waiting for the fireworks and the boat never even moved. The captains of the boat stated that this was a big issue with Viator. But in my opinion, if they knew of this ongoing issue, then they should have signs of the differences on the 2 boats. Several people were being sent back after waiting in line for a while. I recommend booking directly….. 0/0 stars recommend…
