The tour went reasonably well until the guide left us off about a mile from where we started, creating the need for an unexpected long walk through residential areas of the french quarter late at night. Having parked our car near the starting point, the tour should be arranged to start and stop at the same place, or we should have been warned that this would not have been the case and how far away this would be. It seemed that the walk back was about as long as the tour itself.
