Recommend this tour - We truly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide dressed in “movie magic” pirates dress but was very true to the “real” pirates stories and information. The facts and information was interesting to hear. The tour guide was definitely passionate about what he does. I do recommend this tour. Our tour guide stayed afterwards for quite a while talking with us and even did photos. Definitely recommend.

A REAL pirates tour! - We did 9 different tours during our week in New Orleans and I think this one was my favorite. It wasn’t as much walking or destination based as the others but our tour guide was energetic, funny, informative and honest about the stories of the pirates in the quarter. I really liked how he told us the legends but then also gave us the straight facts. Hearing stories is fun but knowing the most accurate information is invaluable!

Swashbuckling fun from first rate story tellers! - HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My girl and I have been on many tours in NOLA and other cities. This by far is number one. The Captain was our guide and he ran a tight ship with clear, fun, and interesting facts and stories. The story telling is SUPERB and the history is amazing. I learned so much and I have done plenty of visits and military staff rides to include the battle of New Orleans. The Captain knows his stuff and tells it in an entertaining and easily understood way. We had so much fun! I can’t say enough good things about this tour. FIRST RATE!

A PIRATES LIFE FOR ME - guide was very well informed with much information about the development of New Orleans. he provided numerous inside conversations which i assume were researched for accuracy. being a pirate myself, i learned some things about pirate history and more about the Leffite Bros. while i did enjoy the tour, i believe it could be cut down to about 90 minutes. our tour lasted over two hours with much information that was not essential to the story with many ad-libs which extended the time of tour. in the 95 degree heat, it could have been left out. i did enjoy the tour but it needs to be shortened.
