Recommended! - Booked a bus tour of town and cemetery #3 on arrival in NO. Butch was our driver and tour guide, excellent with loads of info, and we were able to ask loads of questions that he could answer! But he gave us historical and background information about the area and customs, which is really interesting! Thank you. Highly recommend.

Best tour guide you can get - We took this tour while in NOLA last week. Our tour guide Derrik not only was he informative he was friendly, funny and a energetic host for the tour keeping us interested the whole ride. We saw many areas of the city with details of history, things to do and up-close views of many attractions area. We made a stop at a cemetery and got a wonderful understanding of the burial process, then a distillery afterwards.

Loved the history!! - Derek was outstanding! He was easy to understand even though he said he grew up a local boy! He was super knowledgeable about the city and history! I really enjoyed it! I was unsure between bus tour v. Walking tour but the A/C sold me! I’m so glad I opted for this! He also recommended a great place to eat and we took his recommendation over something we had in the past! Highly recommend and really enjoyed Derek!!

Great city and cemetery tour - Our guide was again, amazing. All the guides were great. The day was HOT though, so that made it kind of unbearable in the cemetery. Our guide was so informative, kept the information coming along and made it very interesting!

Nice overview and congenial guide - This was a nice overview of the city. Our guide/driver, René, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour is well designed with two stops - one at a historic cemetery, where the burial customs were explained, and the second at a distillery where we were provided with water and an opportunity to use the restroom and but liquor if wanted. René pointed out many buildings of interest, emphasizing the traditional architecture of the houses.

Exploring the Heart of New Orleans: A Tour Worth Taking - Shortly after checking into our hotel, we were warmly greeted by our concierge, George, who recommended the New Orleans city tour with Cajun Encounters. Taking his advice turned out to be a fantastic decision. Our tour guide, Derek, a native of New Orleans, was exceptional. His deep knowledge of the city's history and culture, combined with his engaging storytelling and humor, made the tour both informative and entertaining. Derek's insights extended beyond the well-trodden paths of the French Quarter, introducing us to the rich tapestry of neighborhoods and landmarks that give New Orleans its unique character. Having visited the city multiple times, I was amazed at how much more there was to discover. This tour opened my eyes to aspects of New Orleans I had previously overlooked. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking to delve deeper into the city's vibrant history and culture.

Excellent tour and tour guide - The Cajun Encounters City Bus and Cemetery tour was very enjoyable. Our guide, Rene, was knowledgeable, personable, and witty. We learned a lot of the history and got to see all the main areas and sights of New Orleans while in an air conditioned bus (a huge plus as the heat and humidity were off the charts). The stop at the cemetery was fascinating and the stop at Cafe Du Monde in Center Park was lovely. All in all an enjoyable tour and I would highly recommend this if you want an overall tour of New Orleans.
