Great combination!!! - Robert was our city tour guide and was FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable and made the experience more personal. We learned more than we expected and would recommend it to anyone that asks. Paddle Natchez boat tour was fun but somewhat uneventful. We’re glad we did it but probably would not go again. Overall, the combination of both tours were worth the money with the city tour being the best.

Natchez Ride and City Tour - The tour of the city very interesting, the Guide very prepared and had knowledge of the city and explained very well any question, that was asked, Congratulations!!, I recommend to do it. The tour on the Natchez boat, well, the jazz band, unfortunately was very very low and we had to look where it was, since it initially seemed like a recorded music that was heard on the speakers of the boat, but it is a good experience.

With doing when in NOLA - We were so lucky with the weather in winter! Beautiful blue skies and to be in shorts! We did the afternoon 2.30pm departure and surprised how busy and how many people this boat took. The queues were long! I’d bought tickets online but you had to still show the email at the ticket office to get paper tickets which seemed pointless to me in todays digital world. We sat up on the top deck with the jazz band and still managed to get chairs on the edge so a great view all the way up the Mississippi. We were sat on the right side too as most of the cruise is going downstream so looking forward sit on the left as the commentary mainly relates to what you see on the New Orleans city side and not the Algiers side. It was a very pleasant 2hrs but lucky we had the sun!!

Don’t waste your money or time - Don’t waste your time or money on the city tour and steamboat. Steamboat was OK! The city tour was a waste of time, we didn’t learn much about anything other then the person stories of the guide - none which were NOLO related.

I think I had too high of expectations - I signed up expecting to see more of New Orleans and/ or a natural landscape, not the industrial areas. I think i just had different expectations. The music was good. The food was okay. If I were to do this again, I'd skip the lunch part. The narration was somewhat repetitive and was almost like a commercial in some parts. The boat itself is cool, and it was run well.

City Toiur OUTSTANDING... River cruise terrible!!!! - Let me clarify the city tour was amazing! Robert did a fabulous job and it was very informative and fun. The River Boat cruise was horrible! The chairs outside around the deck were tiny and extremely uncomfortable. In addition, if sitting outside there are not enough speakers in place to hear the narration which lasts for a solid 1.5 hrs. In addition, although the river is majestic there is NOTHING to see except for barges and oil tankers. It was beyond boring. I would not recommend the river cruise but highly recommend the Gray Line City Tour... that was incredible.
