Had a great time 👍! - The tour was well organised. The Grey Lone bus was modern and comfortable with ports at the seat to charge mobile devices. Our guide was engaging, and our coach driver drove very smoothly. The grounds of Oak Alley are beautiful and the tour of the house was done very well. The swamp tour was interesting. I expected it was unlikely we could see alligators as it was hibernation season, but we saw the other animals of the swamp. Captain Tom brought the boat up close and was very engaging in sharing about the swamp; he is very passionate about what he does.

Definitely worth it - The plantation is beautiful and the house tour is great. Grounds are self touring which was perfect for us. The swamp tour is only worth it in January if you want to see swamps. Apart from birds we saw no wildlife. Our captain brought a baby alligator on board that we could hold and take pics which was cool. The bus rides were super comfortable. All tour guides were great.

Great for first-timers to Louisiana! - We're northerners from NY! We had never been to Louisiana before and wanted to see things that are particular to the South. Taking a tour of a Southern plantation and riding in a swamp boat were big treats. The guides were knowledge, fun, and safety-oriented. I highly recommend it!

Perfect Taste of Louisiana Tour - This was a great tour, and I definitely recommend cutting out some time to do it. It's an easy way to get the Louisiana experience without having to do a bunch of planning and driving on your own. I went with my dad and sister this past December, and I believe our tour guide was named Brett and our driver was Dominque. We met up with Brett and Dominque near the waterfront where we boarded the bus. The bus is very roomy and has a bathroom. We left from there and listened to Brett give a history of various landmarks we passed. He is an AMAZING speaker and is so incredibly knowledgeable (please give this guy a raise because he knows so much and is such a good speaker). The bus took us to our first destination, which was a swamp tour with Cajun Encounters. The facility has bathrooms and a giftshop with small snack options. We boarded a boat with captain Danny (who is hilarious), and rode through the swamp where we saw pigs, raccoons, a graveyard, and of course gators. Danny feeds them marshmallows if they come up to the boat, so make sure to get pictures of that! Before ending the tour, we got to hold a baby alligator. We then went to Oak Alley where we had the option to tour the main house, the slave quarters, and eat and shop at their restaurant and gift shop. The tour of the main house is timed, and Brett went and got tickets and left it up to everyone if they wanted to tour the main house or not. There is also a guided tour of the slave quarters that starts every half hour or so. The restaurant staff are good about working with you to make sure you can eat without missing any of the tours or your bus back, but make sure to let them know your schedule. After Oak Alley, we returned back NOLA. Dominique did a great job navigating the afternoon traffic, and Brett continued narrating the drive and playing great local music over the intercom for those who wanted to peacefully nap after eating the rich food at Oak Alley. Great tour, I highly recommend!

Great day and fun! - Swamp ride was awesome! We saw all kinds of animals. Captain was funny. Plantation tour was very interesting. We didn't realize how far away these events were or that we could have brought drinks and snacks. The bus was very comfortable and the host was very informative.

Plantation and Swamp tour - Kate H. and the bus driver was amazing. We did not get to see any alligators in the water because it was too cold. To accommodate the boat driver had a baby alligator in the boat to show off. If you want to see alligators in the swamp, plan your trip during the warmer seasons.
