1st time visit to NOLA- Anniversary Trip - The City‑Wide Driving Tour was absolutely amazing. Quay was funny, knowledgeable, and passionately loved NOLA. I’m so happy we started our visit to New Orleans with this tour. He made the day feel effortless—mixing humor and insight, with stops from the French Quarter to the Garden District. The highlight? Beignets at Café du Monde—no waiting in line, thanks to his local know-how. The best way to get to know New Orlea s - Quay has a wealth of knowledge to share about the history of this city, especially about Jazz and the musicians who brought it to life here. The tour had a great pace. We saw so much but did not get exhausted. Do this tour early in your stay so you can benefit from his recommendations.

New Orleans is so much more than the French Quarter - My family (all adults) and I took the citywide driving tour with Quay. Some of us had previously taken the jazz tour—also hosted by Quay—few years prior, and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to do a private tour with him on our trip in June 2025. I have to say; it was well worth it. Quay is personable and incredibly knowledgeable about the city of New Orleans. The tour covers New Orleans’ early history and evolution over the subsequent centuries leading up to today. We started in the French Quarter, but what was really special about this tour was the introduction to other neighborhoods in the city that have such major cultural significance—and many of which suffered greatly in the aftermath of Katrina as well as the racial and political injustice that is a fundamental part of the city’s story. We drove through and made stops in Marigny, the Ninth Ward, New Orleans City Park (with beignets at Cafe du Monde, of course), Tremé, and the Garden District. After spending a few hours with Quay, I have a deeper appreciation for the city of New Orleans that you simply can’t get by romping around the French Quarter. The city and the people who live there are incredibly resilient and special.

Highly recommend this tour - This tour was so fun and worth every penny. Being able to see New Orleans from the perspective of someone who lives and loves the city was amazing. Quay is so knowledgeable and is willing to share that knowledge with others. With the limited time I had, this was best way to see the top things in the most efficient way. Very Informative Tour - Quay was an amazing guide, providing quality information on this 4hr tour. Summer in the south can be rough so you can’t beat an air conditioned ride to experience so many area of New Orleans while learning the history. Quay didn’t miss a beat while teaching from his wealth of knowledge and answering all of the questions. He also take pics with his camera so you get a very personal touch and the POV of a local. Would highly recommend this tour!
