A great experience! - We had the greatest time. My husband and I toured with some gentlemen from Australia. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and personable. The food and drinks were amazing and we walked away full and happy with the experience. It may have been one of the best things we did on this trip.

Do it! - Meg was AMAZING! She really knows her NOLA history & she is the sweetest! Our group ended up being just me and my friend and Meg & we had a TIME. The food & drinks were delicious. You’ll definitely leave full & drunk. Definitely put on your walking shoes & bring some water because you cover a lot of ground. All in all, 10/10 experience. Definitely recommend!

Well Worth Your Time! - Kat was an amazing tour! She went above and beyond to give us a lot of history about Louisiana, New Orleans, culture and the food and drinks. It was a top notch tour. There was plenty of food, so much so that I didn’t need dinner afterwards. A great tour well worth your time!

All the food and drink choices were terrific as were the places that hosted us. Our guide was terrific! He gave us a wonderful history of New Orleans, the food and the French Quarter.

Cocktail & foodie tour. - Me and my adult girls took this tour in September of 2023. It was one of the Best History tours with the best food and drinks. My youngest daughter and I will be going back to New Orleans for a concert in August and we are planning to take this tour again. Worth every penny you pay and more.

Mixed feelings - After reading the reviews we booked this tour with the understanding it was 4 drinks and big meals. The amount of food we received was nowhere near what other reviewers received or what we have gotten in the past. We try to do food tours in every city we visit and this was by far the most expensive we have done. I understood that it was because there was seafood and drinks so we went ahead. We got a cup of gumbo, a boudin ball, a flatbread muffelletta, and plantains, our drinks were a hurricane, a french 75, a daiquiri and a bourbon milk freeze. We also got a sample of dry rub and a praline candy. The tour guide was excellent and knew a ton about the city and its history, she gets 5 stars, the food was pretty average and the restaurants chosen didn't seem to have much significance to the history we were learning, ie, not the original place to start the hurricane or first place to make the signature sandwich, etc. I left feeling disappointed, even if you include the extra 60$ for the drinks included, it was still an overpriced tour.

Interesting Tour - Was an informative tour regarding local history and cuisine. We got to experience several local eateries. The tour guide could have been more engaging.

Decent tour, but a big piece of history is missing. - I’ve taken this tour a few times during Essence Festival. It covers Louisiana’s French roots well, but completely overlooks Haiti’s crucial role in the Louisiana Purchase. The Haitian Revolution (1791–1804) was what actually forced Napoleon to give up on his American empire. After enslaved Africans in Haiti defeated his army, he sold Louisiana to the U.S. in 1803 — doubling America’s size. It’s a powerful and often ignored part of history. This tour would be even better if it gave Haiti the credit it deserves.
