On average, in winter, you have better than a 50/50 chance of spotting a gator. In the warmer months, gator sightings are guaranteed. You might also see bald eagles, pelicans, osprey, or owls. Airboats can reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour and are driven by a massive fan that propels air from the back of the boat at over 200 miles per hour. These tours are incredibly exciting! They navigate through inches of water and access areas that traditional boats cannot reach.

- When traveling with multiple passengers, you must make one booking with all passengers to insure that you are on the same boat. If you did not book together, you are not guaranteed to be together.

- Airboats are not handicapped accessible. There are no lifts or ramps available for use. Guests must be able to get on or off of the boat themselves or with the help of someone in their party.
- Service animals are permitted but not recommended due to the volume of noise on the boat and threats of surrounding wildlife.
- Emotional support animals are not permitted.
- Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.

Great Experience - Our trip was great. Our guide Dewey was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go to see the Gators! We got great photos and enjoyed everything about the trip. We had a great time!

Unique experience - We saw lots of gators! Our guide made it fun and as interactive as we wanted it to be. He was very knowledgeable! It was so interesting and tons of fun!

Small Air Boat Swamp Tour - We had so much fun on this tour! The air boat was so cool and made the expeirence a 10 out of 10. Our tour gudie was very knowledgeable about the swamps and alligators. He answered everyones questions and had great stories. I would do this tour again in a heart beat.

Really amazing experience! - This was the highlight of our trip to NOLA! The time it takes to get from the French Quarter to the docks and back is absolutely worth the amazing experience and boat ride with the alligator guides.

Amazing, absolutely amazing!!! - Rocky, our captain was brilliant. He manoeuvred the waters safely and allowed us to get some amazing shots of the gators, big and small 🐊
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting New Orleans!!!

Cruising the swamps!! - Amazing trip! See plenty of alligators some big some small! The captain was great VERY hands on with the gators you’d think he was playing with dogs 🤣 well worth the money

Unforgettable Swamp Adventure — A Must-Do Outside the French Quarter! - We took three adults and two 17-year-olds on a Louisiana swamp airboat tour today — and it was absolutely awesome! We were on one of the smaller airboats with a total of nine people, which made the experience feel more personal and adventurous.
The ride took us deep into the bayou and swamps, where we got up close with all kinds of wildlife. We saw several alligators and even had an 11-foot gator try to climb into our boat — it was wild (and safe)! We got incredible photos and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.
But the highlight? One of the other guys on the boat lost his sunglasses, and our tour guide actually dove into the gator-infested waters to retrieve them — no joke. It was one of the craziest, most impressive things we’ve ever seen, and it really made the whole trip unforgettable.
If you're looking to get out of the French Quarter and do something different, this is a perfect 2.5-hour excursion. It’s well worth the money and the time. Highly recommended!
