Worth paying a little extra for the small airboat - Super fun way to spend the day! And it’s worth the extra $ to go on the small airboat because you get a better view and better chance of getting up close to the wildlife. The employees at the check-in and reception area are friendly and professional. The boat captain/tour guide was very efficient getting passengers on and off the airboat. And once we were out in the water - yeehaw! Lots of alligators and other wildlife, beautiful scenery and more.

Fantastic tour - We had an absolute blast on our tour. The company called us the day of at pick up time and asked us to walk to a different nearby point which was not a huge deal however, I would ask that they be prepared with an address and not just a street name when dealing with people from out of town. Other then that everything was flawless. Ian the boat captain/tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the NOLA area.

Tour with the Gator Whisperer! - Great trip! Nice clean small bus on time for P/u. Interesting ride to site by our Driver Gerald. Once there boarding went quickly Our Pilot, Ian, was quite theGatorman! Lured many gators to boat and he even handfed a couple! Scary! Really interesting and educational tour, so glad we did it!

Great trip close to town - A pretty great trip that provided a nice view into the nature and animals of LA. The company picked us up from our hotel and we’re right on time. Very little wasted time sitting on a bus and we were quickly taken to our destination. The bus driver was friendly and filled us in about New Orleans and all the landmarks as we passed. When we got to the location, there were food and drinks for sale, so no need to pack a large bag. Everything was priced reasonably. We boarded our boat with our guide on time and took off quickly. The tour was a nice mix of info, animals and racing around in the fan boat. The guide was knowledgeable and you could tell he had respect and love for the animals and area. We saw many gators VERY up close. I left feeling like I had a great time and learned a lot. I’d highly recommend this well-organized tour for anyone looking to venture out of the city for a few hours.

Must Due Thing - Must do thing when visiting New Orleans. Tour Guide/swamp boat operator was knowledgeable ( National Geographic type) on the American Alligators, lots of information. Also, don't forget bring sunblock, backpack, water, hat, wick moisture clothing, sunglasses and cash to tip the shuttle driver and the swamp boat operator.
