Granny and one of the Boys - I came with my 13 year old grandson. He loves history, especially military history and I promised I would bring him back when he and my other two grandsons were in New Orleans in July, 2025. We had a great time and he's even stated that he wants to become a marine.

A must experience in NOLA - I could have stayed here all day but due to time constraints only had three hours. This is an excellent tribute to the war. The video with Tom Hanks is worth the extra cost. The museum had oodles of volunteers, many who came annually to assist visitors. The passion in this place is palpable.

A Must! - I am a WW2 nerd and this museum was top notch! The movie is exceptional and very emotional. The galleries all well documented. The amount of memorabilia and the storytelling is amazing.

Exceptional day - Exceptional !! Great experience, very informative and professionally constructed. I had two bricks placed a couple of years ago to commemorate the WW II service of both my father and father in-law. Happy to finally have the opportunity to view them.

Exceptional Museum - This was our second visit to the WWII museum and we spent nearly 6 hours there today. We started our day with the movies, including the 4-D that was exceptionally good. Really prepared museum goers for the whole experience. We thoroughly explored building one and spent smaller amounts of time in the remaining spaces. The displays are informative and well done; many are interactive. Great day and well worth the price of admission. Bonus- I was hoping to find one honorary brick-the staff was diligent in helping me locate the brick and provided exact directions to its location….and there it was. Buy tickets ahead, do attend the movie, plan for a long day.

Don’t underestimate this... - Don’t underestimate this museum. We couldn’t imagine how we could spend more than half a day here. We spent 7 hours and all agreed we could go back for more. Very well done. All HS children should see the videos so they can understand the horrors of war their ancestors went through to defend democracy. Maybe they would understand why war should be avoided at all costs but that sometimes it is necessary to defend the lives of others such as the Jews, the Filipinos, etc from evil doers.
