Must see! - This was worth every penny… What a wonderful experience and a humbling experience at the same time… I highly encourage anyone coming to New Orleans to take the time to do this tour. Bring your teenagers or young adults along as well.

Wonderful tour to Laura & Whitney Plantations! - I’m so glad we decided to book a small group tour twitch Isabelle! Isabelle arrived promptly at our hotel in a very comfortable ACed van. She shared interesting background about NoLa on our ride. We highly recommend the combo visit of the Laura and the Whitney Plantation to get a balanced view of plantation history. The Whitney is a treasure and a must see for anyone who visits this area! Laura had everything dialed in with the plantation tours, and we were able to see several other plantations from the van along the way. Truly an unforgettable experience. I’m so glad we booked our visit through Isabelle instead of just trying to get there on our own. Our experience was much richer for it!

A classic project to understand the history of slaves in the American South - A very good visit experience, Isabelle explained all the way, considering that we are Chinese tourists who do not speak very good English, very slowly explain clearly, greatly reducing our difficulty in understanding. Visits to Laura's and Whitney's estates gave us a clearer picture of the history and life of the American slave. The Laura Estate narrator speaks very carefully, and the setting in the main building is a very intuitive reflection of the life of the owner at the time. The Whitney Estate provided a voice guide, especially in Chinese, which surprised us and made our visit a better experience. Overall, it was very worthwhile for us to choose this project. Also Isabelle stopped by to introduce us to several other estates, stopping at one of them for us to take a picture. Thank you very much for your service.

Deep dive into the reality of history - Isabelle made this tour experience stress free! She picked us up at our hotel and timed the experiences well. Also the thoughts on selecting which plantations was excellent. A heads up- Whitney is self guided, but many languages can be accommodated so it is still a good self paced experience.

Isabelle was excellent! - Excellent tour. Cajun encounters unfortunately cancelled our Whitney plantation tour 1 hour before we were due to leave. Luckily Isabelle saved the day and took us on an excellent tour with great information on the way there and back! Thanks again.

Thanks to our ancestors - The bus was on time, clean, cool and comfortable! The driver was EXTREMELY POLITE, WELCOMING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT NUMEROUS THINGS! The Laura plantation in my opinion was better. The weather was extremely hot, I thank GOD for our ancestors. They definitely paved a way for all of us in 2025!

highly recommended for travelers interested in plantation history - Isabelle introduced landmarks and historical settings along the New Orleans road on her way to the plantation. Upon arrival, we were given a quick tour of several nearby plantations and took photographs, including Evergreen and Oak Alley. The 90-minute tour at Laura offers not only beautiful architecture, but also a comprehensive history of the Laura family and slave families. Whitney's visit is more skewed towards the perspective of the enslaved, with the introduction to the slave uprisings and memorial sculptures strikingly confronting the brutal historical truth.

Laura and Whitney Plantations - Robert was our driver and tour guide, he did an amazing job giving us a an overview of what we were going to see and expect before arriving to the plantations. At the Laura plantation our guide Renee was fantastic! Super knowledgeable as she explained both sides of the story, the owners and the slaves. We also appreciated all the recommendations that Robert provided on our way back to city. We really recommend this tour
