Food and History with Lyndel - We recently took a food tour through the French Quarter in New Orleans, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience - despite a little rain trying to dampen our day. Our guide, Lyndel, was outstanding. Not only was she knowledgeable and engaging, she navigated the wet weather like a pro, ensuring we still got to enjoy all the planned stops without missing a beat. Throughout the tour, we sampled gumbo, red beans and rice, fried gator, grits, jambalaya, and finished it all off with pralines. Each stop was a true taste of the city’s culinary soul. Lyndel also added so much color and context to the experience, sharing stories and history about the French Quarter that made the tour more than just a food crawl - it was a deep dive into New Orleans culture. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an authentic taste of New Orleans, rain or shine! And if you’re lucky enough to have Lyndel as your guide, you’re in for a treat.

A Must-Do Experience - If you're a foodie (or just someone who enjoys good eats), a food tour in New Orleans is an absolute must! We joined a walking food tour through the French Quarter, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and full of stories that brought the culture and history of New Orleans to life. Every stop came with a delicious bite and a rich backstory. Lyndel was our tour guide and was the absolute best!!

Great food and decent sized portions, I made it my dinner - Fantastic tour and a great sampling of New Orleans foods. There were only 3 of us plus our guide so we got a very personalized tour. We met close to Cafe Du Monde on Decatur. Our first stop was for 2 sandwiches, a po boy and muffuletta. Other stops included jambalaya, gumbo and ended with a praline at Laura’s. Our guide was excellent and gave us a good history on the city of New Orleans. It helps that she grew up in the area. There is quite a bit of walking on the uneven sidewalks. But good breaks between each tasting. I highly recommend this tour.

Very food and history - The tour was great. Roger made sure we all comfortable every step of the way and also made sure we stayed as dry s possible throughout the rain storms. He gave lots of history along the way.. and of course we had some amazing food.

You will eat a lot!! - Roger gave an informational tour when you were able to hear him since he spoke very monotone. The food portions were great and we enjoyed all the hole in the wall joints.
