It was very awesome, nice houses, I loved the architecture, felt like I was on an episode of antique architectural digest! I loved how they thought about water collection back then, despite the lead piping! Shouldn't they have learned from the lessons about the Roman Empire and the aqueducts, I'm sure they were very educated, or instructed at least! thank you again, I've been meaning to get those citruses for the past couple years. Merci madame!

Please consider taking this tour with Tours by Isabelle. Our driver was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and so funny! The bus was clean and comfortable. I've visited several Plantation homes so I was so excited about seeing San Francisco and Houmas House since none of us had visited either one before. The lunch at Houmas House was amazing!! We loved the Dragon fly theme. They even had delicious biscuits shaped like a dragon fly with butter infused with molasses and chopped pecans!! The best thing you have ever tasted!! Thank you Tours by Isabelle!!!

My husband and I rejoined the clean air conditioned van. The personable guide, Rene and the lovely over all experience. We would have loved to have stayed at the Houmas plantation all day. The food was great and the Mint julep at the bar was perfectly hand crafted. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We look forward to a return and doing this again.
