A Must! Crafting the magic of cajun flavor. - Fabulous! We had an amazing time learning about local food culture and making delicious meals with Chef Jason💚 We love traveling and taking cooking classes anywhere we go and this was one of the best in terms of Chef experience, delicious recipes, and environment.

Fun class with knowledgable and engaging teacher - My two friends and I took this Cajun cooking class. Our chef instructor patiently tutored us in the intricacies of crafting Cajun dishes, all while spinning amusing tales of his background and prior experience. I learned several cooking techniques that I apply to my normal home cooking practices. Highly recommended!

Engaging and valuable - Chef Raymond was excellent. He kept the class engaged and added interesting extras. Yhe steps were clear and moved at a pace that suited the class: not too fast, not too slow. The dishes were delicious and I feel confident I can repeat them at home. I attended a class at Mardi Gras School of Cooking, which was equally excellent. I intend to return for another class on my next trip.

Take the Traditions class with Chef Raymond - What an awesome cooking class with Chef Raymond. There was ourselves and another couple in the class today. We take cooking classes often and yet learned a lot of new tips and techniques from him, This time we took the Traditions cooking class and made Barbecued Shrimp,Jambalaya with chicken, sausage and tasso and a chocolate bread pudding with a mocha brandy sauce. We were able to bring leftovers home with us. Such a great class and Chef Raymond was very personable and kept us all laughing. Can’t wait to have another class with him.

What an experience!!!! Authentic - We went two times in a row. It is basically a gourmet lunch but you get to be part of the cooking process - easy part since all the prep and clean is done for you - all. We took Traditional Class and Creole Class. Both were excellence. Easy recipes. And absolutely delicious! All you can drink wine/beer/bubbles and large portion of food (we had to take some to go!) We had Chef Raymond the first time and requested him for our second class a week later. He is funny, full of stories, and a fabulous chef.
