Founded in 1488 by Rao Bhikaji, a descendant of Jodhpur’s founder, Bikaner has a rich history and is known as the camel country, famous for the world’s best riding camels. It is also the birthplace of the renowned Bikaneri bhujia and namkeen. The best time to visit is during the cooler winter months.
