Our tour to Rajastan - This was a well organised tour with amazing sights and experiences. This tour allowed us to immerse ourselves in the real culture of Rajastan. We saw magnificent temples and palaces accompanied by knowledgeable and informative guides. Our hotel accommodation was really good. Our excellent driver, Mr Amar Meena, took great care of us. He was protective and thoughtful. We were able to sit back and soak up the scenery without any worries.

Seeing India in the most perfect way - Everything from start to finish was perfect. Our driver, Gree, was amazing. The car always clean, he was always on time (sometimes we weren't!!) and he was so friendly and helpful. He took us to some off beaten track to see things such as the site of the 1857 first revolution against the english army, a fantastic archeologico site, a camel dealer and a huge cow breeding farm. He explained lots of Hindu customs etc and was in all a very interesting person. The hotels were simply gorgeous especially the royal palace stays. A fantastic trip in a fantastic country. I would definitely recommend this tour company because they were so helpful from the moment we decided to make the trip. they changed dates, hotels etc without any bother whatsoever.

Swastic tours is the best - We did the golden triangle with Swastic tours. Our driver Ammar Meena was an excellent driver and took care of us all of the way he needs a commendation for this. His driving abilities in the chaotic traffic was impeccable. My husband got sick and he offered to get a doctor for us which was very much appreciated Swastic is a very good company to travel through India with. They contract local guides and they provide detail at the sites of interest. We had very good guides except for the contracted guide in Delhi who did not appear to be interested in providing us with detail about the sites, all others were fantastic. I would recommend Swastic to all those who wish to travel to India the food accommodation and friendly of the people Made our holiday thank you very much Swastic

Great trip - Really enjoyed trip. Driver Himmat has been very help and friendly, and went out his way to make the trip interesting, including taking us to some less well known, but amazing places on the way. Pollution in New Delhi was bad, but that's not the tour operator's fault.

A mind blowing unforgettable experience, packed with history, colour and vibrancy! - This is an amazing tour! Fascinating history and culture. The sites we visited were absolutely breathtaking! The colours, energy and vibrancy of local life was so enticing. Evenly paced and manageable travelling times. The hotels were well above my expectations. The daily local guides were very informative and helpful and broughthistory to life. Special thanks to my awesome driver Mahendar rao mahi for providing such exceptional, caring and helpful service throughout the 8 days. Thank you Swastik for this seamless, fantastic tour!

Honest and balanced review of an amazing tour. - Overall we had an incredible trip, and were only able to see so much through this tour, it did mean some long drives on several days but this was expected. We loved being able to see both the city and the country side and managed to fit so many activities in. Was also great value for money overall. The pick ups and drops off were on time and the car was always clean and tidy and our driver very friendly. Some hotels in the big cities were a bit far out of the main city/town and we were told not to leave the hotel when we arrived at lunchtime with not much to do so this was a bit frustrating. The itinerary wasn’t always clear and was often moved around which lead to some frustration when we weren’t aware what the plan for the day was. Most hotels we went to also weren’t aware of how many of us there were or what excursions we were booked on, so had to move rooms around which took some time and was frustrating and also having a reduced version of excursions as the guides weren't in that day as there was no booking etc. It felt like this could have been resolved with a few phone calls. The local tour guides were nice but we often felt rushed around the monuments when we would have liked to have spent longer taking in the sights, other than at the Taj Mahal where we had a fantastic guide who was patient and knowledgeable. The visits were often cut short so as we could be taken to what we were told were factories or demonstrations but were in fact just shops and this was an attempt to get us to spend money due to the driver or guide getting a cut of our expenditure. This resulted in a lot of pressure selling and us parting with money when we didn’t really want to buy as we didn’t always have the capacity to spend the money being asked of us and this was not a comfortable experience. We were also not always allowed to choose our own restaurants and were taken to western or tourist spots by the local guides where food was more expensive. When we requested to eat elsewhere the guides would become visibly frustrated with us which was uncomfortable. Whilst we appreciated the care and consideration taken for our safety we often felt infantilised and parented and were asked to not leave our hotel for long periods at a time, and when we did it was reported back to our driver, which meant we felt like we missed out on being able to explore and were stuck with nothing to do for hours on end. Lastly, Our driver was lovely and friendly and as helpful as he could be, but communicating any real issues was challenging due to language constraints so we often felt out of the loop because the trip deviated from the terminator we had been provided and this became really stressful, we acknowledge that this wasn’t within his control and despite this he always did his up most to help us. Overall the trip really was wonderful and we saw and did such incredible things and we would still definitely recommend it but just tweaking this few things really would make it a 5* experience.

Nicely organized tour - A nicely organized Tour. Our driver, Hemmat, was especially fantastic! The local guides varied – some were great, some were good and one was not so great. A highlight of our trip was the tiger safari. The hotels were generally good, although there were occasional problems with Wi-Fi and hot water. The castle stays were particularly interesting. We saw a lot and learned a lot. Recommended.

Travel review: Golden Triangle with Wildlife and Royal Castle Stay (Oct. 2024) - The tour was good overall, a nice experience. It should have been 2 days longer (more time in some places); the 1st castle stop could have been omitted. The travel agency (Swastik India Journeys) unfortunately did not provide the detailed tour plan and especially the hotels (we had an upgrade to 4 star) in advance, despite requests. The hotels were sub-optimal, for example far outside the towns (we were able to compensate for this because our car and driver were available). Our driver, Bhagirath (‘Buggy’) was nice, polite, punctual and tried to fulfil our wishes. He drove very attentively, safely and carefully. He can't be blamed for the fact that the car is throttled at 70 km/h and that we were therefore extremely slow on empty eight-lane motorways. However, this meant that we lost a lot of time and were travelling (too) long. Buggy told us a lot about India/Rajasthan and introduced us to his family - thank you very much! The guides were all very good, but it was a bit annoying that it usually had to end at a craft shop... Happy Dewali! - we took part in - that was great.

Great driver - Our driver, Mahendra rao was excellent. He was prompt and reliable. He changed scheduled time to suit us when possible. He was very pleasant and was able to speak with us well. His car was extremely clean. He cleaned it every day. We had different guides at each town that were very good. All the hotels were good but the location of the hotels made it impossible to wander around the area which we like to do. The tour company had some real problems. The hotels selected were out of the towns in areas that were not suitable for walking and not near restaurants or shopping areas. They also booked us to go to the Taj Mahal on Friday but the site is closed every Friday. Our driver saved us by getting the guide for the Thursday afternoon. Instead of a morning visit we had a late afternoon visit.
