Delhi Sightseeing - Jaipur

Delhi Sightseeing - Jaipur
New Delhi - A chauffeur or representative will greet you at the Airport or your Hotel anywhere in Delhi NCR. You will embark on a guided city tour of Delhi, which includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Qutub Minar, a 73-meter (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower built in the 12th century, and Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, between 1565-70. The Lotus Temple, a Bahá’à House of Worship, is also on the itinerary (closed Mondays). You will drive past Government buildings in New Delhi, constructed by the British in the 1912s, which house some of the most important ministries of the Cabinet of India, including the India Gate, Parliament House, and Secretariat buildings. Later, you will be driven to Jaipur for an overnight stay.
Jaipur Sightseeing - Agra
Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - After breakfast at 8:00 AM, meet your guide and begin exploring Jaipur, known as the Pink City. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was India’s first planned city. The city is called the Pink City due to the color of the buildings in its charming old town, painted pink to honor Prince Albert of England’s visit in 1882. Visit Amer Palace, a magnificent fort with an extensive palace complex, each with its courtyard. Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake (photo stop). Explore City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings, once the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and the Royal residence. Jantar Mantar, featuring the world’s largest stone sundial, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for great photos. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.
Jaipur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri - After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. Continue your journey to Agra, where you will check in at your hotel. Enjoy your evening in Agra at your leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Agra.
Agra Sightseeing - Varanasi (By Train)
Taj Mahal - At sunrise, visit the world-famous monument of love, the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (closed Fridays). After breakfast, explore Agra Fort, one of India’s finest Mughal forts, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. This massive red sandstone fort is located on the bank of the Yamuna River. Your guide will share the history of Agra Fort. Next, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, a tomb with significant historical and architectural importance. Itmad-ud-Daulah is a mausoleum overlooking the Yamuna River and is the first tomb in India made entirely of marble. Visit Mehtab Bagh, a series of 11 parks on the Yamuna’s east bank. Enjoy free time for shopping in Agra. After the Agra tour, you will be transferred to the railway station for a train to Varanasi. Overnight on the train to Varanasi.
Varanasi - Boat Ride - Ganga Aarti
Ganga Aarti - Upon arrival in Varanasi, a company representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Your Varanasi sightseeing tour begins with an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise views. The day is free for leisure activities. In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a daily evening ceremony practiced for thousands of years on the banks of the River Ganges. Overnight stay at a hotel in Varanasi.
Varanasi Sightseeing - Delhi (By Flight)
New Delhi - After breakfast, visit Sarnath, a site of great significance for Buddhist pilgrims. If you are a devout follower of Buddha, this is a must-visit place. Later, explore the New Vishwanath Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, located within Banaras Hindu University. It took around 35 years to build this temple. Visit the Tulsi Manas Temple, built by the royal family of Banaras in 1964, believed to be where the legendary poet Tulsidas wrote the great Indian epic Ramcharitmanas. Nearby is the Durga Temple (Monkey Temple), dedicated to Goddess Durga (divine feminine energy). After completing the sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
After the Varanasi sightseeing, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
