True insight into everyday life in Delhi - Take this tour if you want to learn something & understand everyday life in Delhi. It is a true insight into people's reality. I was concerned when booking this tour, I didn't want to feel like I was prying into people's life. It didn't feel like it at all. It was tastefully done, I didn't feel unconfortable but on the opposite, I felt welcome. Our guide, Sunny, was very open and kind. Very knowledgeable and happy to talk about his own life and experience, which I truly appreciated. He is a fantastic guide, a clever young man with a bright future ahead of him, I truly recommend taking the tour with him specifically. Thank you Sunny for your patience and your kindness!

A very uplifting and humbling experience - We were concerned that was just morbid fascination on our part, but this was definitely not the case. It was a very uplifting and humbling experience. It is well organised and completely safe. Sunny, our tour guide, was a perfect host and explained the temples and the background to the colony very well, in perfect English. For such a young man, he has our complete admiration for the work he does to support the community. Anyone who gets the opportunity should do this tour, particularly if you are fortunate enough to have Sunny as your guide. Thankyou for one of the best tours we have ever made!

Such an educational experience! - What a wonderful morning! A great way to actually understand the political and social factors surrounding the slums. I really enjoyed my time and got to speak to many local people who gave me their insight on what life in the slum really is like. I left feels very humbled - I joined this tour for education and I can say that I really did learn a lot. Really worth the visit - very non-intrusive also. Lot's of respect for the volunteers and guides thar guve their time to help in these areas.

Unique - highly recommend! - Such a unique and special experience. It was great spending the afternoon with Sunny. The visit to the volunteer led school they’d set up in the slum, and meeting the other volunteer teachers, was a particular highlight. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour is a must do if visiting Delhi! - Our guide, Sunny, was so friendly and knowledgeable as he showed us around his own community and shared about his life living in the Sangam Colony. I was concerned our presence may be intrusive, but felt very welcomed by the residents and the children getting heaps of handshakes and smiles and felt very safe the entire time. An unforgettable experience for all the right reasons!

Absolute highlight of India - This was an absolute highlight of our 2 week Indian trip. We felt safe and comfortable and all the people and happy faces we met was such a joy. I loved the railway walk and the seeing the kids playing cricket on active tracks and the trains going past. Thoroughly recommend this tour and any opportunity to help these amazing humans who live in the communities.

Late - Our guide was 15 minutes late. When we were walking with him we found out that he wasn't our guide. He came later. A bad start of an okay walking tour where we got to talk to women and children in a kind of office. The price for this trip was really high. We would not recommend the trip. Maybe better find somebody who wants to take you there. 14 Euro per person is just not worth it for 2 hours walking and a cup of tea and cola....
