- Göreme Panorama - The tour begins with a breathtaking panoramic view of Göreme. Here, visitors will learn about the history and formation of Cappadocia while admiring the fairy chimneys. After the informative session, there will be free time for photography.
- Derinkuyu Underground City - After a 40-minute drive, the tour arrives at the Underground City. Initially used by locals as a natural deep freeze, it later served as a refuge for the late Romans against potential Arabian invasions. With the guide’s detailed explanations, visitors will spend nearly an hour exploring.
- Ihlara Valley - Located 52 km from the Underground City, the entrance to Ihlara Valley is reached after approximately 45 minutes. The valley was formed by volcanic activity from Mt. Hasan, with the Melendiz River eroding it over millions of years, creating an 80-meter-deep canyon. The entire valley stretches 14 km. Historically, Christians inhabited various parts of the valley, carving and painting churches. Visitors will hike about 3.5 km, taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, before arriving at a restaurant for lunch.
- Ihlara - Enjoy a 1-hour lunch in Ihlara town, starting with soup and salad, followed by a choice of main dishes, and concluding with seasonal fruits.
- Selime Monastery - The tour continues to the cinematic Selime Monastery. Although it resembles a castle at first glance, the presence of shelters, churches, chapels, bedrooms, storages, and a large cathedral confirms its monastic nature. Visitors will learn about monastic life in Cappadocia.
- Pigeon Valley - The climb to Selime Monastery may be tiring, but there will be about an hour to rest before reaching Pigeon Valley. During the journey, the guide will share traditions, cultures, and stories about Anatolia. Upon arrival, pigeons will greet visitors at the top of the valley. Pigeons have always been significant to the people of Cappadocia, with their eggs and droppings used for various purposes. Locals carved houses for them into the valley slopes, and visitors will understand why they are called “houses” upon seeing them.
- Stoneland Travel - Return to the hotel.

An excellent tour with very friendly and knowledgeable guides. - The various visits were outstanding. It's a pity that two stops were part of the route where candies and onyx jewelry were offered. However, the guide Mehmet was the best I have experienced in recent years, knowledgeable and super friendly. The underground city tour and the valley hike (about 6 km) were the absolute highlights. But the other viewpoints were also very beautiful. The trip lasted from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, but it felt much shorter. The bus was comfortable, we received a bottle of water, and the driver had a perfect driving style.
Absolutely recommendable tour!!

Last minute surprise - Booked last minute due to cancelled balloon flight. We had a great time. We saw so much that is just not possible without a car.
We were collected from our hotel in Göreme at 09.30 and got back around 18.00 - so it's a big day and you certainly get your money's worth. The lunch was simple, but it was authentic. We enjoyed it.
The sights you see from the road alone are worth coming for.
Our tour guide Marve was lovely. She was knowledgeable and funny and made it a memorable tour.

We all know that the... - We all know that the success of the tour relies very much on the guide and the driver. We were lucky as our guide and driver worked together to make our tour a wonderful experience. We have not only been to the iconic landmarks listed in the itinerary and have feasted spectacular views but have been educated by our guide who was both knowledgeable and professional.

A Good Experience with a Cheerful Guide - We booked with Hereke Travel. both the driver and the guide were really pleasant persons. The tour was really good, well planned; especially our tour guide Ali G. who was well equipped with such history. He was eager to answer every question we had, along with his sense of humour. All places were of such interest, but for us (nature lovers), the Ihara Valley was the best spot. We highly recommend this tour.

Shopping experience included - The cave cathedrals are amazing and the reason to take this tour. A bonus is the shopping experiences thrown in - if you want to mix up the unique historical themes and sights with a bit of costume jewellery shopping then this is the tour for you! Yes, a visit to a jewellery outlet is included. You don’t see much of this this nowadays. To round it off at the end of a long day there’s a 20 minute stop at a lolly shop. Between the shopping there’s also a couple of stops at cathedral caves.

Great Tour and Guide - Great tour and I can't fault the guide (Selim) who was very knowledgeable and had good information and was able to answer all questions. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the drinks at the restaurante were exorbitantly priced and the stop at the shop at the end which wasn't needed.

Dreadful green tour no trecking included and multiple retail stops - We booked last minute in the by cappadocia office. We said we specifically wanted to walk along Ilharia river which we had heard other green tours did. Once paid and on the bus the guide announced she was not walking along the ilharia River. We were then trapped on the bus on a hot day having brief visits at view points and way too much time at a jewelery shop, turkish delight shop and what can only be described as a cheap canteen for lunch, We asked for a refund and got sent packing. We feel conned out of 47 euros. Check the detail itinerary before booking.
