We will collect you from your hotel around sunrise (it really is the best time of the day) and take you to our office in Goreme. Our pilots check the weather conditions and decide on the best launch site for the preferred flight path. Once at the launch site there will be a full safety briefing and you will have first hand experience of the balloon…
We will collect you from your hotel around sunrise (it really is the best time of the day) and take you to our office in Goreme. Our pilots check the weather conditions and decide on the best launch site for the preferred flight path. Once at the launch site there will be a full safety briefing and you will have first hand experience of the balloon inflation. The crew will help you into the basket and when everyone is happy and comfortable, the moment you have dreamt of…up, up and away! Below you, a unique landscape, a combination of natural beauty and a deep and complex history. Before we return to your hotel, we celebrate our flights with champagne and passengers each receive a personalized commemorative flight certificate and medal with our sincere thanks for sharing the best part of our day.
As we can not start to fly without having their(The Civil Aviation Authority) daily permission we can’t guarantee to take off before sunrise.
- Children 00-06 years and PREGNANTS are not allowed in the flight due to safety reasons

Must try in Cappadocia - Wonderful experience. The pick-up was right on time, and the light breakfast was decent.
The flight itself was one of the most breathtaking experiences I've had in Turkey. We went up before the sunrise and could see all the other balloons rising up one by one. The landscape bathed in the morning sunlight was a beautiful sight that honestly can not be described in words.
Our pilot Fathi navigated the balloon expertly and ensured our flight was a smooth experience, including the landing.
If you go to Cappadocia, this experience should definitely be at the top of your list, and you should definitely consider Butterfly balloons. The entire experience, right from booking to the hotel drop-off, was handed expertly and professionally.

Amazing experience with a well organised company - This is my first time in a hot air balloon, and considering I am not a fan of heights, this was a breathtaking, must-do experience!
The whole package was very well organised and very fun. Pick-up was prompt, taking us to their office/briefing room where they provide us the ticket (which says who will be our pilot) and they give us time for a light breakfast consisting of breads, fruits and coffee/tea. While having our food, they keep us updated with the weather, how we will proceed to the launch site.
Once we took the busses (each assigned to the respective pilots), they took us to the launch site where you can see all the balloons getting prepped for launch. Our pilot, Mustafa, was professional and entertaining while he gave us a safety briefing before launch.
The flight itself was a surreal experience. You get to experience the beauty of the area from an ariel perspective and with the many balloons around you at the same time, it was stunning. The basket itself was quite secure and the flight was very smooth so I didn't feel as scared of the height as I thought I would be. The flight lasted for about an hour and landing was smooth.
After the flight they provided us with champagne (or juice) and a medal with a certificate which was a fun touch.
Transportation back to the hotel was provided after.
Overall, from start to finish, it was well organised, engaging, fun and worth doing!

Butterfly best company - I definitely recommend this company, I have the Erwin pilot. Without words, it was all unique, from pickup to being dropped off at the hotel. 10/10

A stunning experience!! - The most beautiful experience! We took a sunrise flight with Butterfly Balloons and the experience of seeing the region and its beautiful landscape from above was bbreathtaking. Our pilot Mehmet was so wonderful teaching us about the area and making the flight enjoyable with music and helping to take photos. The additional attendants and members of the company were so kind as well.
Would definitely recommend riding with Butterfly Balloons. They coordinated our pick up, offered breakfast, prepared us for our journey, and provided a lovely keepsake after the trip.

Super experience - What a fantastic experience, we were picked up early before dawn and first got a small breakfast. Then we left for the place of the departure. Our pilot Gokhan was very experienced and friendly. He dropped and raised the balloon at the right times so we could take the most beautiful pictures of the surroundings and the sunrise. Pay attention to everyone. Afterwards we received champagne, medal and a diploma. Everything was top arranged and felt very safe.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!! - Butterfly Balloons in Cappadocia is first class. On arrival we were greeted with professionals and treated with a light Turkish breakfast. We were transported to the launch site and watched as the crew prepared the balloon. Pictures were taken for us by crew and warmly welcomed. Pilot Ali Riza explained safety rules for the flight. Our flight was so smooth, fun, exciting and the panoramic views were yes, amazing! When we landed we were welcomed with champagne and cake. We were given a certificate for flying and a neck medallion, so fun. This is a must for anyone visiting Cappadocia. Make sure you ask for Pilot Ali Riza with Butterfly Ballon’s.

Core memory ✨ - The most amazing experience of a lifetime! Our pilot Mehmet was incredibly calm, fun and knowledgeable with our flight. His take off and landing was smooth as ever and for someone who is afraid of heights, I felt at ease the entire time as the views were so beautiful! As part of our package, we were promptly picked up from our hotel and arrived to a nice light Turkish breakfast before heading out to the balloon fields where you get to watch the team set up for take off! On the flight there’s lots of opportunities for photos and fun to be had. Upon landing, there is a champagne party, flight certificates and a medal to celebrate! 1000% recommend Buttefly Balloons!

Amazing experience - Our experience with Butterfly Balloons was fantastic! Booked through their website ahead of our trip, they were very helpful in answering questions by email prior to our flight. The entire process start to finish was very well organized, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our pilot Mehmet was fantastic, he made us feel safe and ensured we had a wonderful time. The whole team was so professional and kind, making the experience even more special. We especially loved the ability to book a flight with only 8 passengers with Butterfly- to us it was definitely worth the extra money to have fewer people in the basket. The celebration after landing was fun, a great ending to an amazing experience. This is a must do in Cappadocia, and I highly recommend booking with Butterfly!
