Additional Information
We will collect you from your hotel around sunrise (it really is the best time of the day) and take you to our office in Goreme. Our pilots check the weather conditions and decide on the best launch site for the preferred flight path. Once at the launch site there will be a full safety briefing and you will have first hand experience of the balloon inflation. The crew will help you into the basket and when everyone is happy and comfortable, the moment you have dreamt of…up, up and away! Below you, a unique landscape, a combination of natural beauty and a deep and complex history. Before we return to your hotel, we celebrate our flights with champagne and passengers each receive a personalized commemorative flight certificate and medal with our sincere thanks for sharing the best part of our day.
As we can not start to fly without having their(The Civil Aviation Authority) daily permission we can’t guarantee to take off before sunrise.
- Children 00-06 years are not allowed in the flight due to safety reasons
- Children above 6 - 12 years, must be accompanied by an adult
- Our pick-up times change according to sunrise which changes seasonly
- As we can’t start to fly without daily permission of Turkish Civil Aviation Authorities we can’t gurantee to show sunrise
- In case of a cancellation due to the poor weather conditions you will receive a full refund.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years

Amazing flight! - This flight over Cappadocia was amazing! The company was punctual and professional every step of the way. Ziya was an exceptional pilot. Highly skilled and knowledgeable. I don’t think they could have done anything better. Highly recommend!

Amazing Premium Experience - Really loved our experience with Gokhan and I don’t think it could get better. We were a group of 5 in a 16 people basket with plenty of space to move around and click pictures. There were 4 each in 4 compartments so did not feel crowded at all. We took off before everyone else and landed after so we got extra time in the sky and we could see other balloons take off and land. Our pilot Gokhan Aydin was very friendly and showed us some sights on the way. It was such a beautiful and stable flight, landing was perfect. We had a light breakfast before the flight and some drinks and cake after. They also took 360 degree photos and videos which they sold after the flight. It couldn’t have been more amazing! Really recommend even if they charge a little extra than others.

Top Gun Maverick Pilot - Mr Gokhan Aydin. Superb experience! - Had the most amazing experience with Butterfly Balloons and flight with Mr Gokhan. He is extremely competent and humourous - making the entire hot air balloon experience fun filled and seamless. Highly recommend.

On top. It's worth it. - Excellent experience.
200 euros well spent with a very experienced pilot, Gökhan , who gave us all the explanations about the landscapes we flew over.
We flew on a day when the wind conditions were ideal and therefore the pilot gave us a few extra minutes before making an absolute soft landing.
Beautiful experience!

What an incredible experience! - Thank you so much to the Butterfly Balloons and its Captain for the very well organised and incredible experience in the sky of Cappadocia!
From the booking to the pick-up on the day of the flight, the company has been very responsive. On the balloon, our Captain was not only very professional and careful, but also very funny. Thanks to him, our trip will be unforgettable, as the prosecco at 7.30am to celebrate our Balloon medal and certificate :))
We will definitely recommend Butterfly Balloons to all our friends coming to Cappadocia!

Great experience- magic and wonder - The whole experience was easy and incredible. The company picked us up at our hotel in Uchisar and we went to a main terminal. They communicated about a delay and quickly got us out into the skies. Mustafa Gunal was our pilot- he was kind, skilled and friendly. Overall I would highly recommend this magical once in a lifetime experience!

Amazing experience - The company is very trustworthy. We had a perfect flight, the pilot Gökhan was very nice with us and explained many things of Cappadocia. We booked the Mastercard Flight. The duration of the flight was 1 hour and 10 minutes, we were 16 people and we had a lot of personal space to enjoy the view and take pictures. They gave us breakfast and champagne. They made also videos and photos of us with special cameras, that we buyed for extra 30€. They gave a cup as a gadget after the flight (this one was included).
I highly recommend this experience, it was worth every single cent.

An unforgettable experience, an amazing pilot! - An unforgettable experience that literally brought my wife to tears…but in a good way. Butterfly Balloons runs a first class organization - they picked us up early in the morning, got us prepped with a lovely breakfast, and had us out to the fields for sunrise. Our balloon pilot Fatih was just the best, he worked with the ground crew to make sure they put the balloon in just the right position to get the best ride on the currents… and what a ride it was ! From gliding along 2 meters over the surface to ascending to 2000 meters above the land, this ride had it all! I know there are many balloon services to choose from, but if you book through Butterfly and end up with Fatih as your pilot, I can guarantee you, you will have the experience of a lifetime!

The perfect hot air balloon experience - We booked a bright flight and it was an amazing experience. Everything was perfectly run from the hotel pick up at 3:45 to the “ champagne “ toast after landing. Our pilot ( Mehmet ) was awesome. We would definitely highly recommend Butterly Balloons.
