  • Derinkuyu Underground City - After driving about 40 minutes, arrival to Underground City. This underground city was firstly used by the local people as a natural deep freeze, later by the late Romans as a shelter against potential Arabian invasions. With the clear explanations of your guide you will spend almost 1 hour here.

  • Ihlara Valley - Ihlara Canyon is 52 km. away from Underground City.Approximately 45 minutes later, you will be in the entrance of Ihlara Valley.Ihlara Valley was formed by the volcanic actions of Mt. Hasan, next to Ihlara Valley. Afterwards, Melendiz River eroded the valley for millions of years besides the layers cracked and fell down. Eventually, 80 meter- deep canyon was composed. Whole Valley is 14 km. length. In the past, generally Christians lived in the several parts of the Valley; also they carved churches and painted them. You will hike about 3,5 km.Hiking will last 1hour 15m.Then you will arrive to Restaurant for Lunch

  • Belisirma - 1 hour for the lunch in the valley, next to the River. You will start with the soup and salad, later you will able choose one of the main dishes from the list. Lunch will be over with season fruits.

  • Selime Monastery - Our tour will go on with another movie- set-like place, Selime Monastery. At first look, the monastery looks like a castle, but shelters, churches, chapels, bedrooms, storages and big cathedral proves us its being a monastery. You get information about the monastic life in Cappadocia.

  • Pigeon Valley - Climbing to Selime monastery will exhaust you, probably. But till you arrive to Pigeon Valley, you will have about 1 hour to rest. Also, our guide will mention about some traditions, cultures and stories about Anatolia on the way. Upon arrival to Pigeon Valley, pigeons will meet you on the top of the valley. Pigeons have always been important for Cappadocian people. Their eggs and droppings were used for different purposes. For this reason, local people carved houses for them to the slopes of valley. You will see the reason why people call them \

Comfortable bus, friendly tour guide, good value for money - Selim was very informative and friendly. He gave lots of information and gave an unbiased history of the areas we were visiting. Air conditioned bus. Some of the places we visited felt rushed but this wasn’t an issue for us.

Must do in cappadocia - We had a fanatic day. Would absolutely recommend. Loved the half way stop on the walk with benches in the river. Underground city is so amazing, it is claustrophobic however my 6ft4 boyfriend managed so unless it really bothers you don’t let it put you off ! Selim is a great tour guide too.

A beautiful experience - A truly enchanting tour. It actually exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to the guide, Emre, a super prepared person with a great ability to make history come alive. We also did Red Tour, however we prefer the Green Tour.

Great value, very educational, saw a lot in a short time. - Excellent guide, great value for money. Enjoyed getting to see multiple parts of Cappadocia on the green tour! We loved every part, including the underground city, a beautiful hike, a wonderful lunch along the stream that was included in the price, and seeing ancient Byzantine churches as well!

Good Experience - After all of the reviews I read online, a lot of the reviews said to go on the Green tour over the Red tour. I have to say I disagree - I am definitely glad I did both. We did the Red tour the day before the Green tour, so some of the information was similar, but we got to see some really cool stuff. A lot of the locations were far apart, so you do spend quite a bit of time in the car. The underground city was definitely the highlight. The lunch on the river was very cool, but I could've replaced something else after lunch instead of doing a random walk in the woods that doesn't lead you to see anything. I would've rather seen something unique to the Cappadocia region. Tip about the Underground City: DO NOT GO if you are claustrophobic. Also, if you are very tall and cannot crouch low, that may not be the experience for you. Some of the passages are very narrow and very short.

Excellent Green Tour by Ali - Tour was well-paced and our guide Ali was informative, knowledgeable, interesting and funny. He helped us take photos and answered all our questions. He also helpfully pointed out toilet breaks, and he was accommodating with our last-minute request for a different drop off location. We would have enjoyed stronger aircon in the bus as it was quite suffocating in the heat, and could have done without the stop at the jewellery store. Overall highly recommend!

Skip the Green and Red Tours - Every second shop sells these tours. Every second tourist takes them. Two problems: each take a day and both waste your time with visits to shops for sweets, carpets, ‘gemstones’ and pottery (‘ special’prices are raised by commissions to tour companies). A better option is to gather 2-4 people and take a taxi and driver for One day to the few places of real interest eg an underground city and Uksidar castle. Take walks to either Rose or Love Valley on the second day.
