Whale Cruise - In 1983 my self, wife and two sons cruised on the Moonshadow, 18 meter sailing boat. Wine and cheese and viewed Port Stephens. Wonderful. We went again about 2 years later. The Annable family, (including D for dog towed in the dighy) sailed the original Moonshadow. We again sailed with Moonshadow cruise a whale watching on Thursday, with Captain Peter. Many whales sighted and educated by Peter. Thank you including the Annable's several fllet.

Luckiest Whale watching cruise - Leaving the dock and venturing out to higher seas, we were fortunate enough that we didn’t have to go to far before we saw the wave and splash of whales. We saw 3 mummas and calves, the calves were playful and amazing to watch in their natural environment.

Wonderful - Fantastic. Wonderful skipper whose informed commentary, suitable laced with gag here and there really added to the experience. Oh, that’s right…and we got to see mother and calf whales breaching, fin slapping, etc, etc. Dolphins too. Just great. Couldn’t have asked for more from Moonshadow or from nature; the latter being the lucky part I guess.

Whale watching Port Stevens NSW. - Great 2.5 hour trip. Saw whales within 20 minutes of leaving the dock. Ben the skipper and the lady crew were excellent, very professional. Great commentary from Ben the captain. Lots of photos to review when I get home. Highly recommend this tour.

Magical! - We took an afternoon cruise midweek (1.30-4pm), it was not at all full, which was lovely. We got to see whales, seals and dolphins, which way beyond expectations, magical experience. One warning that I wish we were aware of, it is rough where the whales are, you can and very likely will get very very very sea sick as it is out of the bay and into the open ocean. If you are someone who gets sea sick, you might want to skip this one. They do offer ginger travelcalm tablets on board ( 10 pack for $10), however this has a limited effect.

A great experience - The Osprey was a very comfortable boat, the crew were great and seeing multiple whales interacting with each other was amazing.
