Marvel at the breathtaking island and coastal views as the boat heads to Broughton Island. After your picnic lunch, embark on an island discovery guided walk to explore wildlife breeding areas, secluded coves, and beaches, or simply relax on the beach or in the water.
Bring your snorkeling gear to explore the pristine waters of Broughton Island, enjoy swimming, or just unwind on the beach.
On the return trip (if time allows), delight in boom net rides and bonus dolphin watching.
- This is an offshore excursion and is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years.
- Due to the nature of this menu being set, which includes a vegetarian option (must be advised at the time of booking), it cannot be altered for any further dietary requirements.
- Broughton Island National Park has limited shade available. Please plan accordingly to enjoy your full-day adventure responsibly.
- Baby prams are not permitted on board our vessels. Collapsible strollers are permitted but cannot be taken to areas other than the main cabin of the vessel, upon boarding our friendly crew will advise passengers on where the stroller may be stored.

One of the best tours. - One of the best trips especially if it’s a sunny day.I was blown away by the beauty of beaches and island.Highlight was ray feeding crew were great.This is an absolute must in Nelson Bay.Beautiful memory saw some dolphins,loved snorkeling but didn’t see much.Kids enjoyed floating mat,slide and boom net.Lunch was more than adequate and super value for the money.

Spectacular day out on the island & in the water! - Awesome day visiting Broughton island! We were lucky to see a mother & calf Minke whales on the way out! Fed the sting rays & had a wobbegong shark swum up to see what we were up to! The island was stunning to explore & water was amazing! Went for a swim at Providence beach & snorkelled Esmeralda cove. The picnic lunch bags were a great little touch & enjoyed by all! Kids big & small loved the slide & boom net! Topped off with a large pod of dolphins swimming with the boat on the way home! Definitely a great day out, thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it, can’t wait to dk it again!

Ridiculously amazing day at Broughton Island - A ridiculously amazing day, stunning Island with crystal clear water. Heaps of dolphins, a great boat with friendly fun staff. A super fun day out, a must-do.

Fantastic day trip - Very well run cruise. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great staff and commentary was informative. The lunch was great and the scenery on the island is magnificent. The white sand and blue water were just gorgeous. We had a perfect weather day which made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be doing this again.

Fantastic fun! - Fantastic day out!! My Son and us adults loved the water slide, big floating water mat and boom net. Lots of fun! Broughton Island was a stunning location that I've always wanted to go to, well worth the wait, should have went long ago. We saw sting rays, dolphins and the snorkelling was good. The water and sand looked like paradise. Staff were nice and easy going, boat ride and transport to island very easy. Lunch provided, plenty of it and nice. Highly recommend. On the car trip home my Son asked "Mummy, can you book that in again" He loved it. We'll be back soon.

Stingrays, Shearwaters and Snorkelling - Great day cruise. Lots of dolphins seen on the way back. Informative commentary, friendly crew. Generous packed lunch, veggie option available. Stingray feeding on the island and a good guided walk. Great snorkelling. We had a really enjoyable day.

Amazing Day Cruise - The day cruise to broughton island is a wonderful experience for all. Staff are lovely, knowledgeable and fun. The food is delicious so much on offer definitely don't fill up before getting on board. And broughton island was lovely to explore.

Amazing day trip - For what this cruise is, it is by far value for money, staff were great. And informative of the area, the way to broughton Island we didnt see anything in the water, but it was a pleasant cruise, had lunch on the island sitting on the edge of a cliff on the island, me and my partner "plus a friend" and then made our way over to the stunning north beach, locals on the island were very nice "and if thirsty don't be shy to ask them for a drink as they will gladly give u a glass" after exploring the island we came back and got to feed stingrays by hand, and even pat the ones without tails. The cruise back to nelson was really eventful as we saw 6 different lots of dolphins, and a group of penguins.. the slide into the water was great, but i cut my hand climbing up the ladder back onto the boat.. Massive shout out to James as he promptly helped put a bandaid on my finger and made sure i was ok "he was great to chat to the whole cruise" but i must warn we were the only 20-30yr olds on the cruise other then the staff as the rest were 60+ of age.. but it did make it quite peacefull, definently recommend doing atleast once if you are up there.
P.S - the bread rolls at lunch were so fresh :)
