Best holiday!! - I had an excellent experience with Travelnlanka on my very first trip to Sri Lanka. Lahiru helped me design a wonderful 9-day tour, even accommodating longer driving days so I could enjoy both the beach and a waterfall jump at Laxapana. My driver, Charuka, was outstanding—knowledgeable, kind, funny, and easygoing. He went out of his way to find my favorite things (like mangosteen!) and introduced me to great local spots to eat whenever I asked. Every day was unforgettable, so I honestly can’t pick a favorite. I may have hired a driver, but I feel like I walked away with a friend. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour, highly recommend - Had an amazing two week holiday with Travelnlanka, our driver Menaka was absolutely amazing, the whole family loved him, very safe driver, knowledgeable and great with the children and nothing was too much trouble. If I wanted to go somewhere or had a change in the itinerary, he adapted things to accommodate our requests. Menaka enhanced our trip massively. Overall, I cannot recommend this company enough. Quick responses, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Safe. Our initial flight was cancelled but they kept in constant contact, tracked our flight and were waiting at the airport with gifts and a smile, and an appreciated lovely vehicle with aircon!

Amazing experience - highly recommend - We have just got back from two amazing weeks in Sri Lanka. This trip had been in the planning for over a year and a lot of research had gone into making sure we found the right driver and locations. Based on reviews, we chose Travelnlanka and it was the best decision! Our driver, Sandun Imalsha , made our holiday 100 times better than any of my plans outlined on paper. From the point you walk out of the airport and see all of the placards with names on it is overwhelming and you wonder, how am I going to find out driver, and then in the distance you see the most beaming smile and instantly relax. Sandun greeted us, not only with his smile, but also with some beautiful necklaces. There is a phrase, that the little things count more than the big things. With Sandun, he covered all bases. Sandun had taken on board all of our requests and memorised our itinerary, he made sure we were provided with local SIM cards, introduced us to new fruits, bought us a local lottery ticket - we won 40 LKR, bought us some drinks when we were unwell and bonded with each one of us. He is very proud of his country and open in sharing his knowledge. Each day he would provide us with the information of the places we were visiting, offering recommendations of places we may wish to visit, how much it would cost and he was open to different ideas and also put no pressure on us to do specific things. He was the expert, but ultimately, we had the final say. Sandun's van was always clean and each morning we were greeted with fresh water and flowers on our seats, oh and of course Sandun's beautiful smile. Sri Lanka roads are a little hectic but Sandun was an excellent driver, made us feel very safe. I was quite nervous about how it would feel to have an additional person on our holiday and with our family but Sandun quickly became part of our family and our children, especially our son, had a real bond with Sandun. I cannot recommend Travelnlanka highly enough and specifically Sandun, he is truly amazing!!!!! Ps forgot to mention, he is an excellent photographer too!

Private driver - As a family with two children we made a three-week trip with Sadun as driver. We had a nice time and the Service was good and pleasant. We had already mapped out the route ourselves and booked hotels (we decided to book a driver later anyway). During the trip we found it with a hotel less than expected and Sadun had a good alternative. He was more than a driver, he was also our guide and knew how to convey a lot of knowledge about the country, religions, nature etc. He was tidy, friendly and was actually always ready. So good experience.

Fantastic experience, thanks to our Travelanka guide Gimhana - We had an amazing time exploring Sri Lanka, and a huge part of that was thanks to our fantastic driver and guide, Gimhana, from Travelanka. From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely safe and well looked after. He was always punctual, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Gimhana consistently chose the best routes for our travels and pointed out so many interesting sights along the way that we would have otherwise missed. We learned so much from him—not just about the main attractions, but also about Sri Lankan culture, delicious food, and the fascinating wildlife. His insights really enriched our experience and gave us a deeper appreciation of this beautiful country. What stood out most was his kind and calm nature. He was always patient, respectful, and a genuinely lovely person to be around. We highly recommend Gimhana and Travelanka to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. He truly made our trip unforgettable!

Great experience!! - We travelled 2 weeks to Sri Lanka with Ravi and had an amazing experience! We are a family of 4 (13 and 15 years old) and we were on our first experience of having a driver. Organizing remotely with Lahiru was very easy, being very available for our many questions. Ravi was always in a good mood, smiling and attentive to our needs and always had suggestions to occupy our days but also knew how to leave us moments with family. We could feel his motivation to make us have a great holiday! My teens have called it the goat-greatest of all time. We must also highlight his talents as a photographer! We were a bit worried about driving say quite sporty:) in Sri Lanka and Ravi was able to adapt the driving to make us feel safe. In short good words for the company and our driver Ravi and we recommend them without any hesitation!

Wonderful experience in Sri Lanka - Everything perfect, Sri Lanka is so beautiful and our driver Menaka had been so professional and careful. We spent in Sri Lanka 8 days (family with 2 children) and could visit all the main attractions. All the activities and the schedule was suggested by them based on our interests. Amazing 10 days in Sri Lanka with lovely driver & guide! - Wow!! What an amazing 10 days in Sri Lanka with Sandun and Travelnlaka!! 🐘🇱🇰🐆🌴🐬 This beautiful country has so much to offer and we couldn’t have hoped for more from our trip with our driver Sandun from Travelnlaka. We’ve never travelled with a driver before but Sandun made us feel instantly comfortable in his company, never awkward, just so easy to be with. We travelled as a family of 5 with three children (9, 5 & 2 years old). We had an action packed 10 days visiting many places including Dambulla, Sigiriya, Trincomalee, Kandy, Ella, Yala & Galle Fort. Although the trip was very busy, having Sandun with us really made it feel more of a holiday. He knew all the best places to eat, he’d stop and buy local foods when he saw and point out things of interest along the way. He also had so much knowledge to share, answering endless questions through the drives and stops. A super perk was all the amazing contacts for the activities we did, including snorkelling, whale watching, & safaris. The elephant safari Travelnlanka organised with Shen was the holiday highlight! (Wild watching team - Shen Safari) 🐘 AND the best part of all - Sandun helped with the boys all the time. He helped them, made them laugh and have fun everywhere we went. The boys all adore Sandun and are so sad to leave him at the end of our trip - they feel they’ve made a special friend in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Thank you Travelnlanka for all your help organising our amazing holiday and thank you Sandun!! 🧡

Exceptional company - Start to finish this company was exceptional. Pre Holiday they were extremely helpful in helping me fit as much into my itinerary as possible. On arrival to Sri Lanka we were greeted by our Driver Sandun. Calling him a driver would be an understatement because he was an extremely talented guide, photographer, planner, translator and Sri lankin cultural teacher! He also ended up being a great companion and friend to both of us on our holiday. During our holiday I wished to add things to my itenary late which was no issue to the company and no extra charge. The whole set up was extremely reliable and well set up. We had requests such as climbs up rocks and steep hills >2hrs which we needed to start in the night at like 3:30am etc. Wasn’t an issue for Sandun who was ready before us everyday and willing to guide us on our hikes. Inbetween towns / Cities on drives Sandun was excellent at recommending things for us such as waterfalls and viewing points that we really loved and would have had no idea of without a local guide. The suggestions were all excellent. There was no pressure to do tours or buy things etc something I was worried about as I had not done this type of travelling before. What actually happened was the opposite having Sandun meant we didn’t get ripped off for tickets at places etc. Sandun really personalised our trip by identifying early things we like. For me this was wildlife and animals in Sri lanka. He would regularly go out of his way or add hours to his day to ensure I seen amazing wildlife and then would get brilliant photos for me. For the price we paid we couldn’t be happier i’d strongly recommend this company to my friends and family and glad i chose them.

If you are looking for a driver for Sri Lanka, look no further. Definitely recommend - When planning for our 2 week Sri Lanka trip it became apparent that maybe the public transport wasn't for us (apart from the lovely must do train ride) We found Travelnlanka on one of the many Facebook groups and sent them our itinerary (Negombo, Kandy, Ella, Sigirya and Pasikudah) and got a quote straight away. Unlike others who we approached they didn't try to change our plans and the price was very reasonable, although it felt very decadent booking our own driver for a while 2 weeks trip.  Lakmal met us at our hotel (we'd already arranged airport pick and drop offs with our first hotel, otherwise he'd have done that too)  Neither of us have ever had a personal driver we had no idea of what to expect other than being taken from place to place. He turned out to be more than a chauffeur; he got to know us and tailored things to our needs, stopping at supermarkets, arranging guides where we wanted them, pointing out things of interest and animals along our route, happily pulling over to take photos and take in the country as we wanted to. Stopping for fresh avocados en route from Ella to Sigirya has now ruined the avocado experience at home, no avocado will ever be a fresh or tasty.  We felt safe at all times as well as cared for. When we make our plans to return to Sri Lanka we will be in touch and see if Lakmal is available.  Definitely recommend ☺️
