Very tasty! - Very skilled and funny cooking class. My partner and I were alone and she took very good care of our wishes and interests. The recipes are a big bonus!

Must do if you are in and around the Negombo area - What a brilliant start this was to our Sri Lanka holiday. Met by a very lovely family who welcomed us into their lovely, family home. It’s a very interactive experience where we were able to pick and chop out our vegetables. Added the spices and cooked the curries…under close supervision so we didn’t ruin such lovely food. The food itself was a taste sensation. Our whole family (4 teens and 2 adults) absolutely loved it. Couldn’t recommend this class enough

Authentic and traditional taste of Sri Lanka - First of all, the communication was quick and efficient, all the details explained beforehand. We were welcomed with tea and homemade treats. The whole cooking experience was knowledgeable and well presented. Cultural claypots were used in the process which made it even more authentic and flavoursome. Lots of details were shared and we were able to make everything from scratch. Such a lovely family to meet and lovely memories to take with us from Negombo! Thank you so much for having us!!!

Wonderful experience - Great variety of food and tastes, excellently demonstrated but it was good to be the chefs doing the cooking too! We were able to select the protein and the vegetables so we enjoyed trying different dishes and ingredients.

Awesome cooking class - Fantastic cooking class opportunity. Family of 3 travelling with 11year old. Everyone got involved and tried,chopped,cooked...beautiful food. You can choose spice level if you are concerned it will be too spicy. It felt like an authentic experience cooking in her home. Thank you for this great experience, I would highly recommend it

Cooking Sri Lankan Curries - Nuwan is an excellent teacher. She taught us how to make different types of curries. We did all the cooking under her supervion. I highly recommend this cooking class!

Kookles - After a friendly reception we got a cup of coffee or tea. Then we went to choose the vegetables. It was very fun and educational. Various vegetables curry.s made and a chicken curry. Was very tasty. Afterwards delicious coconut pancake.. Thanks for the lesson.

Awesome Luncheon Experience - Nerangi welcomed us into her home and served us some tea with home baked cake and biscuits. We went to the food preparation area and she explained all of the vegetables, condiments and spices. We chose five vegetables and went into the kitchen where we chopped them up for each dish. Nerangi showed us how to grate coconut from its shell and make coconut cream and milk. For each curry we combined the ingredients and cooked them in clay pots over gas stove tops. We also shallow fried papadams and made a coconut samba. It was nice having her mother helping us as well as her son being there as well. This gave us a real sense of family. Our lunch was delicious, full variety of flavours, colours, smells and taste. Nerangi served us a pancake for dessert that was tasty and complemented our fine lunch. Would strongly recommend as a great experience to try while visiting Sri Lanka. Graham and Kerry. Perth, Australia.
