Good Food and Good Fun! - So much fun and good food! Great day spent in Taormina hearing about this history, shopping, making pasta, and making pizza! Of course, eating as well!

Taormina tour with pizza making - Great tour! We had so much fun exploring Taormina and making our own pizzas. Allesia was a wonderful tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

Discover Messina: Pizza and Pasta Making Tour in Taormina - Tania did an excellent job with our tour. She was informative and was prepared with waters and a local snack. Once we arrived in charming Taormina, we shopped then entered the restaurant where we began making different pasta styles. We then had time to sample cheeses, meats, and wines before we began making pizza doughs followed by time next to the pizza oven to top our pizzas and bake them. The finished products were delicious! The restaurant staff were also very helpful and enthusiastic. Our family highly recommends this tour.

Pizza making in Sicily - Fantastic day!
Well organised,
My second time using Discover Messina, they are wonderful
The class was really fun and the finished product was delicious 😋
Plenty of wine and cheese served in between.
Easy puckup, right in front of the ship.

This is NOT to be missed! - This was the BEST tour!!! A little history on the walk in Tourmina, then learning how to make pasta and then Pizza, starting with a mound of flour in front of you for each! What flours, why, how to knead, adding water, everything. Then we ATE IT! So yummy! We got the customize our pizzas, had treats, got a certificate, and got to KEEP THE APRON! Sooooo fun. Definitely don’t miss this! (Oh - and they email you the recipes!) DO IT!

Quote from the kids “best day of my life” - Sara was a dream tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and became part of our family while we explored the beautiful town of Taormina. We learned how to make pasta and were shown several different ways to roll macaroni. We then made pizza dough and added toppings to our pizzas. This was our favorite tour on our 9 day cruise. Sara, the town, the food and wine were all the highlights. We had 5 children with us 8,5,3,2 &1 and this was the perfect tour to keep them entertained and involved. We will be back!

Great Pasta and Pizza Class! - Outstanding adventure! We had a great time visiting Taormina and making pasta and pizza! Pepe met us at the ship in Messina and took us to Taormina. He guided us through the town and left us in the capable cooking class hands at Porta Messina. After class, we ate our creations with wine and drink. We had a little time for shopping, then back to the ship. A great excursion in Messina!

Great cruise excursion! - This was a fantastic tour! Cecilia was so fun and shared many interesting tidbits about Sicilian life. My 2 tween daughters loved the pasta and pizza making and everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the free time to walk around the Main Street and do some shopping! Highly recommend.
